Quaint antique store with lots of furniture
Jan 2017 • Couples
This is a large house with many large antiques and some folk art items. Not a lot of smalls. Parking in front and across the street. Bathroom, no ramps, air (?), a large room in the back not heated and most likely not cooled holds more large items. Just 1/4 mile away is a river, a very old mill (closed) and across the street next to that river another antique store. A wonderful brewpub/restaurant is up the road a quarter mile, by the (only) light in town. Ice Cream place (seasonal) just up the road from the BrewPub. Rt 513 (at the light) is a nice scenic drive. The hill of Schooley's Mountain is quite steep at this one turn. Bikers beware, but this is well traveled by groups.
