“Identity crisis - is it a pub or a gig venue ”

Visited here on a Saturday evening for a drink. Piped jazz music - pleasant, then a heavy metal band started playing upstairs at the same time - horrendous. Couldn’t escape the noise. Dreary interior, inattentive bar staff and a few outside seats. The worst pub we visited in Jersey.

Took 30 mins to get served. Took 1:30 hrs to get food. Overrated and over priced. One good thing was happy hour. This was not for drinks but bring your dog and sit outside. It was actually rather nice.

One good thing was happy hour. This was not for drinks but bring your dog and sit outside. It was actually rather nice.

Only had drinks. The bar staff were friendly and the loos very nice, I always think it's good way of judging a place!

Very Rude Barman

The Blue Note Bar is a traditional bar at Jersey with a nice atmosphere. However, on one night that I went there with my friends, we were basically kicked out. It was 11pm and we were about to leave when the barman (blue shirt and red tie) came to us and said "Get out or I will kick you out". This was a very unpleasant surprise and I hope they seriously consider who they recruit!!!!!
