I was a NYer for thirty years and I don't think beat the views from Statue Cruises. They'll take you to Ellis Island, which shouldn't be missed and to the Statue of Liberty. Truly amazing sites and truly amazing views of NYC.

We had to stand in a very long line to buy the tickets until we realized that we can buy online and skip the lines. the online ticket clearly states that we can skip the boarding line but when we arrived at the gate they said that is not true and we had to go all the way back and... More

This is the way to go because the lines are short. Again, short lines. Ferry here about 50% full, vs sardine cans for the NYC ones. Parking cost $7 and you will need to walk a bit to the center for tickets if you don't already have one. Then about 10 mins to the security line and pier. There is... More

We bought our timed ticket on line a few days before arriving in NY There are long lines and airport like security all very efficient to keep the long lines of tourists moving.

We booked online in advance , and it's better to go from jersey city side as battery park can get very crowded . The ferry from Liberty state park leaves on time and takes first stop at Ellis island . You are free to explore Ellis island as long as you wish and then just hop on to next ferry... More

My husband and I took our 9 yr old son in March 2014. The ferry boat was spacious and surprisingly clean after the previous weeks snowfall. Ticket prices were great considering it includes the boat transportation and admission to both Musuem attractions on Ellis and Liberty Islands.

We decided to depart from the jersey side because we heard Battery Park can get very crowded. I highly recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance or you may not get what you want. Especially if you want to go into the crown of the Statue of Liberty. You would have to book that several months in advance as tickets... More

Did the crown tour of the Statue of Liberty, well worth the price! An extraordinary experience! Crown tickets may cost more but you get to the head of the security line and a far better experience. Recommend going in fall, October weather is nice, during the summer is very hot inside the Statue. Need to plan in advance, book on-line.... More

The trip was well organized and we were able to avoid the long queues for the ferries in both places.Linda our guide did a wonderful job of explaining the significance and history of both places and kept us entertained with her lovely singing. Would love to do the trip again but after booking well in advance for the View from... More

While visiting the Statue of Liberty, especially going up inside of it, was awesome, the process to get there is horrible. We had a timed appointment and couldn't get in line until then. However, there is another line of people that just bought tickets that day. Both lines funnel equally into the airport screening areas and then everyone is herded... More
