- Charlie b29 contributionsGreedier and greedierThe ppl at hurricane harbor outdoing themselves again. Now they barely put any tubes in the lazy river in an attempt to force you to spend another $40 to rent a tube to use. They dangerously overcrowd the wave pool to where it’s 30 min between wave cycles and close the lazy river for 30 min stints as well. Way better places to spend your money! Oh and their reusable cup is up to $35. Costs $20 for a pc of pizza. This company is just straight robbing ppl.Hello Charlie, we are disappointed to hear of your recent experience. - Becky JRingoes, New Jersey27 contributionsWater park without tubes and endless linesI have never been to a water park that did not have enough tubes. We waited no less that 30 mins to get tubes at the bottom of slides. Then waited anywhere from an hour to up to 90 mins in line for slides. We were at the park for 4 hours and only rode 2 slides. 50% of the slides were closed. As others have said the wave pool is over crowded. The lazy river is a mess because of all the people without tubes. Worst water park experience we have ever had.Hello Becky, we are disappointed to hear of your recent experience. - Libsanity2 contributionsWorst water park everTickets were a great deal but that's when it ended....Parking $45 for general parking, rides didn't have enough rafts to support the amount of people. You have to rent a raft/tube to ride the rides you've already paid for. Rentals are another $15. Even the lazy river lacks tubes. The one wave pool is sooo over crowded that all you can do is stand. Never go here!!!!Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, even if your experience wasn’t great. - Lululove279New York City, New York39 contributionsNeed lockers in Cabana areaPark was nice. Kids had a great time. We rented loungers in Cabana Cove which was nice as it was more private, not crowded at all and allows you not to have to be worried about finding seats and a home base. The only thing missing was lockers in that area. Although it is a more private area I would like the ability to lock up phones, wallets and car keys without having to walk back/fourth to another location to do so. I have been to other waterparks that have lockers in the area of cabana rentals which makes it more convenient.Hi tobylulu, thank you so much for the review. I have never put a review online for anything. However my experience today was so horrible I fee obligated to inform other patrons of it. No social distancing, food lines took hours, bathroom and changing room are filthy, no park. The topped of this day was on believable. As my 3 year old daughter was playing in the kiddie area she was almost espoused to another child’s private areas. So mother aloud her at least 5 year old son go on the kiddies ride completely naked. I have no idea how long this went on for collectively. However as I watch this happen no one was doing anything. The park security was notify and they didn’t removed the make unsupervised child. Instead he was aloud to go up and down slides with he personal area about around a 100 little kids and bent over through a tunnel with other kids behind him. A good woman notified the security 3 times as she took a video to show them what was happen. Still no one not even a life guard removed this child. Not only was this horrible for all the little kids around him but how unsafe it was for the boy himself. I went up to the life guard and told him I was not the boys mother but I was going to cover him up. The life guard thanked me and said he wasn’t aloud to do anything about it. I had to take it upon myself to get my daughters towel and explain to the little boy that I know I’m not your mommy but it was not okay for him to be naked in front of everyone. I than covered the boy and moved him over to a spot near by Incase his mother came back. I asked him about f he know where his mommy was and he said know. He could nearly speak to me, I also had to help do the towel in n him because he didn’t seem to understand that it wasn’t okay for him to be undressed. I couldn’t watch this happen and couldn’t understand why no one at the park was doing anything to take care of this. Where was this boys parents or the parks security. There where parents taking picture and videos of this poor kid and removing there children from the area. Five minutes after I coves the boy a rude woman came over. All she said nastily to me was I was right here watching him, I know he’s naked you would put his pants back on and his mother went somewhere. Than as I went back to my sit my mother hears this boys mom make nasty comments about me and laughing. I decided that this was enough and left with my family. As I was packing up they finally closed that section of the water park but kinda to late since the mom had already ran of with her soon. I will never return to this park and we just bought season passes. Worst experience ever from start to finish.

This review is specific to ordering food. We ordered on the mobile app, the app said it was ready 15 minutes later, we stood in line for over an hour then tried to cancel the order and it wouldn't let us, so we decided to ride it out, and when we finally got the pick up counter, they are not even processing mobile orders and walk up orders separately and then we had to stand there and watch them make the food. This is absolutely unacceptable. It is 2021, real time information is a thing, if your service is down or behind schedule, let people know either on the app or on a sign, it's really not that hard.
Close to two hours to prepare one sandwich is just insulting. Get it together.

Stay away this place is a scam! If you want to waste thousands of dollars go here. There is a 12-month membership fee that you cannot cancel no matter what you do. Also you have to pay for food and rides although you pay all this money for a membership that you cannot cancel for a full year. Stay away I repeat stay away this company is a scam!!!

Now at the time when prices are skyrocketing you hit your regular season pass holders where it hurts. Season passes I see no longer include hurricane Harbor! That is the last straw for me and my family of 20. We have put up with long lines no seating high prices of food long enough. This is the last straw! Goodbye Six Flags great adventure we will find other places to spend our money!!

If I could give zero stars I would. The water park was understaffed. The food court was so dirty with food and condiments on the floor. Someone stepped on a ketchup packet and it blew up all over my legs and feet. After waiting for an hour in line to get my food the one register went down so my family got to enjoy our cold $118.00 worth of food. A lot of the water slides where down and the lazy river was closed too. I will never come back here again!!!!

On 6/18/21 I went to hurricane harbor. Upon entering, there was a sign stating 4 rides were open. Actually there were 3 pools open and 1 tube ride open. My 3 grandchildren went in the wave pool for approximately 5-10 minutes and came out due to a clot of blood floating in the water. We went over to an employee to see which tube rides were open and there was only 1. When a sign states 4 rides I thought it was 4 tube rides. Needless to say, myself, my daughter and my grandchildren had lunch and were leaving and upon leaving my daughter and I stopped at guest relations to obtain a refund or possibly another one day pass on a day when all the attractions are open. Hurricane harbor refused to give my daughter a refund and offered her a ticket to the theme park for today. We were not prepared for the theme park because we were in bathing suits and flip flops and also we only had so much time. My daughter paid 40$ for a one day ticket. So here is what the other option was. You could forfeit the 40$ ticket or upgrade the ticket for an additional $20 to a season pass. I think hurricane harbor made a lot of their consumers angry today. We would have been happy with getting an entry ticket for another day but it was not an option. I think they took lots of money today from consumers without giving services. I hope someone out there who is in charge of hurricane harbor is reading this because today it was like they stole my daughters and how many other customers monies. I don’t understand how they could believe it was the right thing to do. I am very disgruntled about what happened today. I guess the six flags owners are only interested in $$$$. Disgraceful!!!

The experience in the park was very confusing. It was supposed to be an exciting adventure but it ended up with questions like do I ever want to go back there. Most likely it’s a NO.
To save some money we purchased a meal option online. When we were trying to get the meal at Paradise Pizza and Grill we realized that it is all very confusing. There was no explanation at all, therefore we asked questions but the lady behind the counter who looked pretty much like a supervisor wearing all black was not helpful but most likely rude by saying that if we are not happy then we had to choose a better meal option. First of all, there is only one meal option to choose from. Second of all, I personally think that if Paradise Pizza and Grill sells a slice of pizza, that is poorly made of just thin bread, cheese, and 3 little slices of salami for $15 then I definitely don’t want anyone to snap at me with “choose a better option next time”.
Due to long lines and poor organization of redirecting people to the right spot out of the water to the safe area, you barely have time to try all attractions just once. Lots of people trying to cut the line with stupid excuses but the park representatives don't want to deal with it leaving it up to you.
So summing this up, I personally won't go there anymore and I won't recommend this to anyone. There are so many better options to spend a few hundred dollars per person.

Horrible experience. Purchased a bunch of sunscreen, bought the tickets on line and arrived to find them turning away guests. Park is at capacity, yet they sold me a ticket and I had three kids with me. We were in the car on a long line of cars to get in for hours! The sign saying they were at capacity was after an hour of waiting. They don't answer phones, their chat service isn't supplying a representative. There is no way to get a refund or raincheck. Don't buy tickets - its a rip off! Just throwing your time, gas and money away. Terrible, I will never, ever make a reservation again nor drive there because they make you wait in traffic for an hour all the way to the front of the line. Horrible service. I should have read all the other bad reviews. You'd think they'd refund the tickets bought today. No, I have to have the credit card company do it. NEVER AGAIN.

This year they have a worker shortage since they can't get international workers this year. Most of the rides are closed with exception to the pools and one or two slides depending on staffing. We just waited in a long line to ride the only water slide open, and then sat in the wave pool the rest of the day. Not a very fun day.

We bought season passes for the first time and have now done both the theme park and the water park. The theme park day was fine but this review is solely for Hurricane Harbor. This was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a water park. Overcrowded doesn’t even describe this park. If half the people were there, it would have still been too crowded. 45-60 min wait to just get food. 45 min wait to change your clothes! People put towels on every chair and no one sits in them so there’s literally no place to sit, there’s no place to stand, there’s no shade, getting to your locker is a trick and a half. We were there for 2.5 hours and went on ONE mediocre tube ride that lasted 15 seconds at most.
We also bought the refillable bottle that we can use throughout the season but the bar areas that had the same soda fountains as the other place would not fill it. We had to wait on the lines that were insanely long to simply fill up a bottle we paid $40 for. (We didn’t bother filling it.)
We usually roll with the punches but when everyone is so hungry and thirsty that they all just want to leave to go home and get food, that’s what we did. I have to wonder how much money they lose because people like us just decided to go home significantly earlier and we spent zero extra dollars there.
PS- these lines are insane for food and you’re not even allowed to bring in your own food to help them alleviate the length of the lines.
