The Nowhere Water Park
Aug 2021
Nowhere to sit. Nowhere to stand. Nowhere to swim because it’s so crowded. No lazy river despite lifeguards on duty looking at empty water. Lines are insane for rides and food. If you don’t get there early and get a seat, or pay extra for one, you will not last more than an hour. Only positive is alcohol is freely available. You’ll need it when you sit crossed legged on hot concrete waiting for your kid to get through a 45 minute queue for a 30 second ride. That’s Hurricane Harbor.

Go if you enjoy long lines & crowed
Aug 2021
We’ve wasted a day off at this place. 50% rides were closed. Even lazy river was closed. But the funnest thing is they are calming closure due to staff shortage. We saw couple lifeguards guarding closed water slides & empty lazy river!!??

Due to many rides were closed so wave pool & splash area are super crowed.
Wave pool didn’t provided wave for every 30-45 minutes for 5 minutes wave.
Food lines are also extra long. We went on Tuesday, I can’t imagine what it is like on the weekend. Will not go back again.

Will Not be Returning
Aug 2021 • Family
We visited Hurricane 2 times this year. We have season passes The first time was with no reservations. The park was way over crowded. Lines for slides were over 30 minutes longs. Long story short we stayed 30 minutes- went on 1 slide and left.

Our second visit was with reservations. Again the park was packed with people. No chairs are ever available because people claim chairs for every kid- who basically rarely sit on them all day. You don’t need a chair for every person in your party to simply put flip flops and a towel on. The lines for slides were again over 30 minutes. After the ride you give up your tube and wait on line again! We stayed this time for about 1 1/2 hours and most of that time was waiting on lines.

Food lines are the same- 20- 30 minutes long.
Our “refillable” drinks were gross both days. Thankfully I brought water. My son said they smelled and tasted unsanitary- which they probably were.

The lazy River was closed both days we went. You can rent tubes which we realized as we were exiting. No desire to go back to Hurricane. I won’t be purchasing season passes in the future. It’s large, has good slides if you have the patience to wait on lines and like being in a crowded pool. No thanks!!

I love this place better than the theme park just wow the lifeguards do training at the wave pool in front of you it was a very realistic park even though I'm the youngest it's always sick.

Amazing time at Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor!
Jul 2021 • Family
We bought season passes to Six Flags for 2021, we've been 12 times since we bought them! Theme park is more fun than Hurricane Harbor, but great time no matter which park you go to! Go through the week days less crowded. Flash pass for water park not as "flashie" compared to Theme park. Best water ride is the Tornado! Haven't had a bad experience yet ( fingers crossed)! Totally worth the money spent, and 1hr and 30min., drive. We go once a week, or at least we try. They also do a very good job with the pandemic.

Horrible management and crowds. Paid full price for tickets but was not allowed in due to park reaching capacity. Never going again

NASTY FILTHY WATER….rude employees…RIDICULOUS waste of money!!! They charged insane prices for EVERYTHING, except the one free
thing, -POOP IN THE WAVE POOL!!!! (See attached photos!)

🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Okay, so myself, husband and 7yo spend about $125 to walk in the door, with tickets and parking. We passed on the $22 locker rental, I have severe back problems so I had planned to park my butt in the lazy river all day….but not an empty tube in sight! We could’ve rented them for $7/double $5/single, BUT -then you’ve gotta lug them around with you all day everywhere you go and return them when you’re finished…not going to happen, so we head over to the wave pool, where there was not an empty chair in sight. My husband wanted to rent me a table with chairs for $50 plus tax, which I said no way,
-forget about it!! I’ll sit in the wave pool!

Some kind woman must’ve taken pity on me and offered us her two chairs because they were leaving. So, the guys go to the water slides and I buy myself a coke, & cheeseburger with fries…..nearly $50 for ONE cheeseburger and a $27.99 coke in a refillable cup, because they were out of the $21.99 refillable day cups, and I knew $6.99 for a kiddie coke was not going to cut it.

All lines were long, ZERO ‘social distancing,’ and everything was overpriced! Back when I was a single mother, there’s no way on God’s green earth I could’ve afforded a day in this dump with my older sons! It’s really sad the way they dupe you into going, prohibit outside food, then gouge you for everything!!! They should be upfront with their pricing and additional charges!!!

Here’s the worst part…wait for it….we just finished eating…we are sitting in the first row of the wave pool seating, our son had just gone back in the water, and a non-toddler sized TURD is washed up onto the water’s edge!!!!!!!

I scream for my son to come back out, as I’m fighting the urge to vomit my guts up…and after about 5 minutes an employee shows up and stands by the poop. Another 5-10 minutes pass and a few more employees show up to take a look at it…meanwhile there were a few HUNDRED people still swimming in the wave pool!!! The employees argued about whose job it was to clean it up, -I can’t say I blame them…then finally after about 15-20 minutes since the poop washed up from the wave pool, the lifeguards blew their whistles and got everyone out! God knows how long all of those poor people were swimming with Mr. Hanky!!! Not to mention, what kind of disgusting PIG does something like that, then leaves it there??!!!

I usually never say never, but I’m NEVER going back!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Thankful I didn’t buy the season pass!
Jun 2021 • Family
Don’t waste your money! Bought our tickets on line on June 28th, drove to the park and was told, sorry, we closed the park. Then why sell us tickets?!?! No refund ! No credit ! Other people leaving the park told us we were lucky not to waste time as well as money as the majority of attractions were closed all day. In a water park! On a day it was close to 100 degrees!

Three hour waste of time and money and never got in
Jul 2021
Horrible experience. Purchased a bunch of sunscreen, bought the tickets on line and arrived to find them turning away guests. Park is at capacity, yet they sold me a ticket and I had three kids with me. We were in the car on a long line of cars to get in for hours! The sign saying they were at capacity was after an hour of waiting. They don't answer phones, their chat service isn't supplying a representative. There is no way to get a refund or raincheck. Don't buy tickets - its a rip off! Just throwing your time, gas and money away. Terrible, I will never, ever make a reservation again nor drive there because they make you wait in traffic for an hour all the way to the front of the line. Horrible service. I should have read all the other bad reviews. You'd think they'd refund the tickets bought today. No, I have to have the credit card company do it. NEVER AGAIN.
