Nice park with a number of trails to walk or bike. I was here for a guided nature walk. There are plenty of birds to see. The lake is home to beavers, and of course, you can always see White Tailed Deer in the woods. There is a plenty of parking and a bathroom is available. It's a nice place to also picnic and a boat launch is available.

The Mercer County Park Commission provides an array of fine options for area residents. And Rosedale Park is an especially wonderful resource for people who like to walk, run, hike bike, fish, play with kids or with their dog.
Beautiful Rosedale Lake is a mecca for people who like to fish (see photo) or just relax and enjoy the view. The playground for kids is one of the most popular spots on the weekend (photo). My friends tell me the enclosed dog park is a great place for their dog to have fun with other dogs and for them to meet other dog owners. There are two sections --- one for dogs over 35 and one for dogs under 35 pounds.
There is ample parking as well as a bathroom and a water fountain.
The Park is part of the Lawrence-Hopwell Trail that provides beautiful bike trails through woods, farms and lakes. There is a helpful map available online.

Great park, peaceful, calm, and surprisingly empty most of the time. Nice playground options for kids, picnic and playground area to rent/permit, lake, nice paths for walking, biking, dog park, and much more. Clean for the most part except the goose poop.

The dog park is itself worth the trip! Things for your pup to do, people love it so much, I see them there in the rain! The park itself is also nice and has a lake, trails, and group facilities. But it's the Dog Park that makes it great!

Have been to many picnics and events here, very nice facility, County owned, requires permit for picnic events that use the gazebo and grilling facilities. Lake is nice, no power boats, fishing with license.

Rosedale Park is just a gorgeous spot in the heart of New Jersey's Mercer County. The "regular" park aspect is beautiful, with a lovely pond and lots of trails for runners, cyclists, etc. What drew us there the first time -- and keeps us coming back -- is a relatively new dog park. It's superb! Free to all, there's a park for small dogs and a park for the rest. The latter (ours is "large") has all sorts of tunnels and hills and just a lot of great running space. The folks you meet there tend to be very friendly. The only downside is there's a very elaborate water fountain that never seems to works. Dogs don't elaborate.
Doggie bags are provided, which is a nice touch. Really well done.

Biking paths, running paths, trees .. On good weather, you can spend whole day.
Near main parking, there are grills, for impromptu grilling .. or u can bring own kayak or do fishing or just walk in vast trails system, they have.
Don't forget to explore historic AT&T world war 2 era towers etc.

This park is one of our favorite. It has nice trails in the woods, a lake, kids area, picnic area and a nice dog park for small and large dogs. It is also connected to the LHT trail. Very nice

This gem of a park is part of a vast network of trails for hiking and biking. The lake is perfect for light boating, no motors, and fishing. In spring the preserve is alive with birds and flowering trees. This is a not to be missed treat.

Can an almost 5-month old puppy enjoy the dog park? thanks!

They have a nice dog park. However, as with any young pup, make sure he has all of his shots first and is cleared by his vet. 6 months is often the guideline but up to you and your vet. I am not sure if the park has a posted sign or anything about age limits, didn't notice. Sometimes they have minimum age and maximum weight, etc.
