The best Advice I can give with this place is to get there early to secure your lounge chair. They could do a better job with some of the communications. The tables have signs that say Not for Picnics, but people have all out picnics anyway. Having someone who speaks clear English at the Ticket Booths would help at the... More

Had not been here since my own children were small. Visited recently with my granddaughter. What a delightful place! Easy no charge parking, easy entry, inexpensive food choices, lovely picnic areas, many many rides for the kiddies. My granddaughter is 2 and a half and there was plenty for her. The water park was wonderful, as it was a really... More

This park caters to families with young children. Geared for the under 12 year old set. An amusement park with rides for children mostly under 8. Santa's workshop is neat children get a free cookie cutter from Santa and the pizza downstairs is the perfect place to eat. The huge wading pool is unbelievable I have never seen one so... More

Land of Make Believe is a fantastic family get away that caters to younger children. The water park is fabulous for everyone young and old and we are never disappointed. the food is cheap and delicious and there is plenty to keep the whole family busy all day long. Feel free to bring a picnic if food there isn't in... More

The Land of Make Belive is a small and nice water/amusement park nestled in the woods near Hope, NJ. It's easlily accessible off Rt. 80 in less than 5 minutes. The park offers great amusement rides for small children and a large, less than knee deep, pool filled with small slides, a pirate ship and small animal figurines for the... More

Ah, the childhood memories. It's nice that this place is still around, better than ever, and ready to be introduced to a new generation. The rides in the park are mostly for the little ones, although adults can ride stuff like the Tilt-A-Whirl, Tornado, Ferris wheel and train. These days the main attraction is the waterpark- we didn't give ti... More

We went first thing on a Sunday and it was perfect. No lines for any rides until 12:30 and then it was only the water park that was crowded. The amusement rides were perfect for young children, Pirates cove was very cute and the water refreshingly cold. My three year old loved it and wants to go back asap

I never expected to have such fun in this park, but I did. I came here with my family to celebrate my niece's 6th birthday. She had a blast and all the adults had fun. The food choices are not many but the food tastes good and it's not expensive. The water park is quite decent and clean. All in... More

Can't beat it for the price and entertainment for young children. The water park is really age appropriate for my 3.5yo. Huge splash park with different spray and splash areas. Loved the lazy river too. Food is reasonably priced, $2 for a large bottle of water. You can also bring in your own food and picnic, they have large picnic... More
