Great fun with young kids! Carnival-style dry rides + water park. Staff are hit or miss.

We went on a Thursday (mid-week) and afternoon thunderstorms were predicted so there were barely any lines. We arrived a little before 10 and got right in (barely any line). Entry fee is 27 dollars per adult and 29 per child over 2. It was also great that parking was free. There were many rides that the kids in our... More

I always loved this place it's perfect for a weekend trip during the summer. Love all the rides and the Waterpark. Unfortunately they need to hire more cashiers for the entrance gate or allow online purchasing of tickets. We arrived at 1 and got into the park maybe by 1:45 due to only one cashier on duty. This was the... More

First time here but enjoyed. I visited two parks in two days with my children (2 and 4). I visited Camelback waterpark on Wednesday and Land of Make Believe on Thursday. If you are planning to visit these two waterparks, then come to this one first as there's not much for adults and you don't dry out your energies. Kids... More

This gem is pure bliss for little kids. The Land of Make Believe is a family owned amusement park that features both a water park and carnival rides. It's surrounded by the Kittatinny Valley, in Hope Township, NJ. It was specifically built for small kids, so it's set up perfectly for families with youngsters. This amusement park has a 'county... First time here with my 5 and 3yr old. we had a great time. We did go on a Friday and it didn't seem too crowded. We also got there 20 min prior to opening so we got our tickets fast and got shaded chairs by the pool. You can take food or buy it there. it was very clean.... More

We took our grandchildren ages 6 and 9 here last weekend and we all loved it. There are many rides that are mostly geared for kids and our 2 rode every one once and many 2 or 3 times! We needed to accompany our grandson on few do to him not meeting the height reqiurements but that was all right... More

This is not a Disney World multi-theme-park tour plan. No worries about hour-plus lines for rides. Nowhere near the crowd levels. No need for a fancy smartphone app, no concern about a "fastpass". No parking fee, and the parking lot is a quick walk to the entrance. No rule against bringing your own food. The dry rides and activities are... More

We went Monday June 27 with our 2 kids ages 2 & 4. This place is perfect for their ages and right up my alley. Note: it wasn't crowded the day we went. We arrived at little after opening and parked very close. Plus for not having to walk far with the kids. Since we talked some clothes and left... More

3rd year going to Land of Make Believe and the kids never get tired of it. Kids and friends ranging from age 2 - 8 and they were all kept busy and happy. Went on a Monday and the lines were very short if not any line at all. Water park is a great time and the height requirement is... More

This was my third trip to the Land of Make Believe and I have to say, I LOVE it! However, if you are expecting Disney quality (or even Great Adventure quality) you will be disappointed. This is an amusement park designed for the 3-8 year old crowd. Now, there is a section with watersides that will satisfy adventure seeking older... More
