We stopped at Moran's due to our son's suggestion. It has a great bar and began serving dinners about a year ago and have done a great job with both. As good a bar as you will find in Hoboken. Great food, welcoming people, smart owner, great barkeep, worldly conversation, and soccer on TV. The place for a pint with friends and colleagues.

Lived in Hoboken 10 years & Morans was by far my favourite bar. Great place to catch up with friends, have a drink & good laugh. Great atmosphere. Of course it can get crowded on weekends, but service is friendly & quick. Afterwards you can grab a slice of pizza as you stumble home. Happy days...

Hoboken used to be a place to simply get drunk. Obviously you can still get drunk here, but it is a different kind of drunk. About ten years ago Hoboken started moving into more of a mainstream crowd. very small place in the center of hoboken. singular and ordinary place to grab a beer after to walk the whole day. many options of tap and bottles. goods snacks too. if you just want to take a break, drink and talk you should go.
