My daughter loves the Cake Boss and always wanted to visit Carlo's Bakery. We took it one step further by taking one of their classes on a recent trip to NYC. The classes are located in their factory. Since we were staying in NYC, we...More

We stayed in Time Square last vacation and my Daughter had always wanted to visit Carlo's Bakery, ever since watching Cake Boss in TV in the UK. We decided to get the bus to get to Hoboken. As we sat at the front the driver...More

Just an all around great bakery aside from the press and hoopla! I've bought several birthday cakes and treats - always tasty and and cosmetically pleasing. Perhaps a bit pricey but why not - they can :) Love the velvet and carrot cakes!!!

I went into the bakery after not only seeing a great deal on the television, but also in print. It’s nice the store has finally been updated from the numerous times that I’ve walked by it in the past 4 years. The bakery is ok,...More

I loved this class! We did a cake decorating class with my Mom for Mother’s Day! They give you history that this was the original Carlo’s Bakery and a tour before starting into decorating your cakes. The instructor was great and I was amazed how...More

Several of us went here last week because an out of town visitor was very keen on visiting. What a DISAPPOINTMENT! The donuts and cream puffs were so "doughy" that we all agreed that they hadn't been cooked throughly . . . and the cream...More

Carlos has spread their wings too thin. The quality has gone down. They stopped making crumb cakes and I believe the cheese rings. They were items that were "weekend" staples in many households in Hoboken. The birthday cakes are tasteless and too sugary.
