I feel the service does not match the high cost I paid. I expected more of a relaxing experience during my facial but was just rushed. I even hadto tell the girl to lower the music in my room. My facialist was pregnant therefore making it hard for her to fully complete her job. I am really on the fence whether I would recommend bliss. Also when I booked my facial I had to wait almost 20mins for someone to answer the phone and when she did, she couldn't answer my questions regarding the services. I think the prices should be lower, cutomer service rep/staff of the spa should be trained more, and the menu description on the website should be more detailed.

I recently went a got a manicure and pedicure ...I was told to come at 715pm however when I arrived it was never booked in the system and nevertheless the technician was about to go home. I appreciate that they rectify it but I feel my service was a little rushed due to mixup...which is unfortunate for the prices they charge.

great spa, bad service at the front desk...tried to double charge a prepaid visit and also double charged products paid for in cash on a pre paid cc as well....had to check cc receipts bc staff denied doing so..

Absolutely terrible experience . Came from out of state for my daughters 24th birthday. My appointment for 0930 the next day was cancelled at 8:00 pm the night prior. No remorse no substitution. Just an oh well. Stopped in the spa and asked if anything else available. "Oh no" was the response. Clearly a problem with the salon and management.

after a few good experiences at Bliss Hoboken, i had the worst nightmare of all time. I was going in for some pre-wedding touch ups before my big day. Waxing, Facials, you name it. The technician decided that she wanted to double up on my oxygen mask without consulting me first. The next few days leading up to my wedding i had large red welts all over my face and neck, i couldnt be in the sun and if it werent for a doctor's visit, shots of steroids and heavy sedation, i would have looked like quasimodo for my wedding. I will never go back to this horrid place, train your people.

I used to be a loyal and frequent customer at Bliss Hoboken, but after today I will never be going back. As I walked in the door for my usual monthly waxing appointment I was stopped before I even had a chance to get up to the counter by being told that babies are not permitted in the spa. At first I thought it was a joke since I always show up with my sleeping baby in his stroller. But then I was bluntly told again that as a new policy babies and strollers are not allowed in the back treatment area. I was shocked at the level of rudeness and discrimination that was shown to me. My son, who was peacefully sleeping in his stroller, was preventing me from being able to have my eyebrows waxed for all of 10 min, at noon on a Wednesday, in what was an obviously empty spa. I would like to know when Bliss decided it was in their best interest to discriminate against mothers with young children? Especially in an area such as Hoboken with shops and restaurants being so baby and stroller friendly, why has Bliss decided to do the exact opposite? I do not pay $35 to have my eyebrows waxed at Bliss because of the overly amazing job that gets done. I pay that kind of money for the brand of Bliss along with the customer service and treatment that I feel is deserved at a place like Bliss. I could easily go to one of the many other spas and salons on Washington St and pay $10 for the same eyebrow wax, which is exactly what I did today. I am appalled that I would get turned away from my appointment at Bliss because I happen to be a stay-at-home mother of a young child. If I could give 0 stars for customer service I would!!

My wife and daughter were scheduled for a massage and nail appointment. The night before they cancelled less than12 hours before and did not offer any other appointments. They just did not care wont reschedule

The winter weather had physically affected staff members who subsequently called out due to feeling under the weather. These call-outs were unforeseen, but necessary to ensure the good health of our guests. This is certainly not the 'blues' we wanted to add to your visit and apologize for any inconvenience. From beginning to end this was a great stop after a long road trip. They went above and beyond and the people are so friendly.

Would definitely stop in if you have time.

Four employees standing around chatting, but none will to give a manicure or pedicure. Multiple times this happened when I walked in as I stayed in the W Hotel next door. Disappointed.
