Personal Favorite
Oct 2019
White Horse is my favorite winery in the South Jersey area. Their Charger is hands-down my favorite red wine and my go-to for impressing friends at home or at BYOB restaurants. Such a smooth and easy-drinking red with complex flavor.

That being said, the place itself is amazing. I'm new to the area but this location looks very new. The barn-style tasting room is beautiful. The staff are always super friendly which always keeps me coming back.

I cannot say enough good things about White Horse. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic Cab Sav
Aug 2019
Stopped in with two friends early Sunday. Nice large tasting room and greeted immediately. Great label. Found Jersey wines to be a bit pricey. The cab sav was $40 a bottle. With that being said, it was delicious and will probably drop buy closer to Christmas to pick up a couple of bottles for holiday dinner. The whites didn’t do much for me but my tastes run toward the dry reds. The dry rose was a bit blah in my opinion and surprisingly the semi sweet was more to my liking. Each of us left with a bottle of the rose. Nice outside deck and grass area with tables. Musician was setting up. Very much appreciated the cleanliness of the ladies restroom. Great recommendations for local restaurants.

Warm welcome and very good wines!
Jul 2019 • Couples
We arrived at the winery and were welcomed by everybody that works there. They all seemed very happy to be there. The tasting was faboulus and the wines that we tasted were all very good. That was our fourth trip to Atlantic City and usually we go to Cape May winery and that’s about it but yesterday, we discovered that there was a bunch of winerys north of Atlantic CIty and White Horse is a must go.

Inviting and Fun
Jun 2019 • Couples
If I had to describe White Horse Winery with a single word, it would be inviting. The second we arrived we were greeted by White Horse’s official mascot Macie, a happy black lab with a tail that doesn’t quit. That sentiment was echoed by the staff, all eager to ensure that we enjoy our visit. The centerpiece of White Horse’s tasting room is a large, rectangular bar that implores you to sip and stay awhile. Dry wines rule the roost here but their Gewurztraminer is a dream come true for us sweet wine lovers.

Grab a bottle and step outside on the deck where live music and umbrella-covered high top tables await. Or head down to the shady picnic area where kids can enjoy bean bag tosses and the doggies can frolic with Macie. Be sure to indulge in one of White Horse’s fantastic cheese platters – we especially loved the stuffed peppers – or if you’re looking for something more substantial, then check out their Food Truck Fridays. Live music, food trucks and superb wine…what more can you ask for?

How to celebrate an anniversary!
Jun 2019 • Family
I have to admit that The reason I traveled to the winery was to see and hear the amazing Laura Shay. So it was a sunny day and Laura was playing outside on the porch Of the Whitehorse winery. We sat down at a table,(if raining would have been indoors) ordered a bottle of wine of our liking( by the way ordered by the bottle is a better value than by the glass) we ordered a goat cheese and fruit platter and the rest is so relaxing and enjoyably entertaining it’s hard to imagine a better way to celebrate our Anniversary. By the way if you had children long with you they were picnic tables on the lawn and you could both enjoy your children and the music… And the wine.

Yay for wine! NJ Wine!
May 2019 • Couples
We had our best friends in for a weekend visit from the Allentown Pa. area and were looking for an afternoon thing to do. Drinking wine is always good and luckily we tried White Horse Winery. The property and building were really nice and we were there on a Saturday with music on tap. To the important stuff Wine! The Cab Franc was very good which can be tough as was a white we ordered. Definitely recommended!

Nice wines, great experience
May 2019 • Couples
We were on our way back from Atlantic City and looking for something to do, so we stopped in here (mostly because of the reviews). Judi helped us with the tasting and she was very nice and knowledgeable. I tasted the 5 reds and my wife had 4 whites and a rose. Her favorites were the Vintner's White, the Chardonnay, the Estate Barrel Fermented Chardonnay and the Rosé (we brought home bottles of all of those). My favorite reds were the Charger (brought one of those home as well) and the Cabernet Franc Reserve. The pours are very generous and if you plan on buying some wine join the Wine Club (free to join) and save on your tasting and your purchases.

They also do group tastings (there were a group of young ladies there for a bachelorette tasting), and the deck and grounds are nice to sit out and have a glass (or bottle).

Lovely Grounds, Good Wines!
Apr 2019 • Friends
We just happened to go on a sunny and warm April day. We sauntered over to the tasting room, a large room with a bar in the center. The person who poured for us, Nicki, knew a great deal about the wines, and wine in general. She was able to answer all of our questions. At first, we were the only ones there, but other guests came little by little. We did the $10 tasting (no food) and could pick 5 wines from their offerings. Each of the ones I tasted was good. I had a tough time deciding between two wines to buy-- the cabernet franc blend or the chambourcin. I eventually chose the chambourcin, because it was less expensive. But all of the reds were good.

A suggestion: ask for a cup of water so you can cleanse your palate between wines. Next time we go, we'll go when there's a singer or some sort of music! I wholeheartedly recommend this winery!
