When you are traveling down Route 46 West through Hackettstown, NJ you have to stop at this old-fashioned candy shop to satisfy your sweet tooth. Tracey's has all the nostalgic candies plus fudge, taffy and other Jersey Shore treats.

They have a line of their own handmade chocolates in the shop now but at $6.00 for a quarter pound, I thought were a little pricey for this area. The downtown has changed a lot since I last traveled here and it has improved and maybe a nice customer moved in.

Still this wonderful little shop still carries all the 'penny candies (that are no longer a penny) and you can choose from a variety of candies and chocolates. It really is a step back in time.

Tracey's is a pleasant trip back in time. Friendly service and delicious handmade chocolate from around Europe. Nostalgic decor and a bright, friendly atmosphere. Great addition to Hackettstown!

This is a very nice candy shoppe. It’s well stocked with a large variety of candies. We had a sample of truffles and it was super delicious.
The fudge is really yummy.

Thought I found a great candy shop to visit while my wife went shopping in town. Was very happy to see lots of "penny" candy, which brought back lots of memories. Tootsie rolls, Bit O Honey, etc. So, I loaded up a bag! Later, we found that about everything in the bag was almost as hard as a rock and virtually unedible. The only tasty, fresh candies were the Hershey Kisses. Too bad, we would be good customers there. I tried calling to offer my "complain", but the phone was busy for a half hour or so, gave up.

I discovered this little gem when I was walking around downtown Hackettstown, a unfortunately somewhat depressed town that is the home to M & M/Mars. Tracey's Candy Shoppe has all the old fashioned candies from the 60's, 70's and 80's but is slightly overpriced for the area. Some of these candies can be had for a cheaper price elsewhere but the experience is like stepping back into time.

The store is one of those old-fashioned Victorian stores that kids might stop in at the turn of the last century and the feel of the business is from another era when kids rode their bikes downtown and spent their allowance on small treats for themselves. The selection is very nice and the woman working the counter could not have been friendlier. When the candy bar I bought looked melted she immediately replaced it.

We ended up having a nice conversation of how they are trying to improve the downtown and ways to bring people here. She ended up being the owner's mother and I told her that she had a hit on her hands. It really is a nice store to visit when you are in the area.

This small shop(pe) on Main Street in Hackettstown offers a large selection of “old time” candy favorites, hard-to-find treats and upscale chocolates, including fabulous French truffles. Tracey’s is a “must stop” when in the Hackettstown area. A great place for satisfying your sweet tooth’s desires.

Located in the center of Hackettstown, this is a really nice place. The smells of chocolate make you hungry as soon as you enter. Tracey is personable as well as knowledgeable. A fun time!

Stopped into Tracey's while getting food across the street. Fantastic candy shop who makes their own delish chocolate bars. Highly suggest stopping here if you're in Hackettstown.

Very rich and creamy chocolate. Let it melt in your mouth as you learn about the world of french chocolate. Very spacious store so even when it’s busy you can freely roam around. Prices are good for the quality.

Been meaning to stop by and finally did when I needed corporate gifts for Christmas. Tracey's has a beautiful box of assorted Belgian and French chocolates that are just so impressive. Beautifully wrapped. Very good bargain too. Nostalgic assortment of candy which is fun to peruse. The fudge is divine. I'm very happy that Tracey's in near me. She is very attentive to your needs.
