I used to live in Jersey as a child and loved going here. This is a safe-haven for abused, neglected and rescued animals. Some roam freely and you can buy popcorn to feed them. Almost 30 years since my last visit, I drove up to check it out again and still loved it!

This place is affiliated with the Humane Society, and they take in wild animals that need care. They also have dogs, cats, birds, and others for adoption. The animals are very well taken care of. The workers know each animal by name! We adopted a fantastic cat who had all of her shots, spaded, and chipped! She is great.

50 of us on 8/10 made a visit - most had never heard of the place. After getting our box of popcorn to feed the animals we spent over an hour & half - most enjoyable visit and will recommend our travel department at the senior center schedule another trip soon. Also was very educational..............

We love coming to popcorn park. We come every summer. We have seen the same animals for years and are so glad to still see them healthy and happy. So many of these animals have come from terrible conditions and many have permanent injuries. Its so awesome to see them somewhere that will take care of them and love them... More

Not only can you come to a most enjoyable local zoo, you can do it knowing these animals have been rescued in one way or another. Highly recommended for a visit. Beautiful park like grounds with benches for resting with a view! You can even purchase food to feed the farm animals. I visit frequently to get my cow kisses.... More

Small sanctuary zoo which cares for exotic animal rescues. I know there is a lot of controversy on zoos but you definitely leave there feeling that the animals are substantially better off than in their former 'homes'. Good for families with young children and even teens, my older ones are always intrigued with the peacocks which run free. One opportunity... More

every couple years we take the day and spend it at Popcorn Park Zoo, so nice to have a place locally where they care so much about animals that they take in the abused and forgotten from around the country. All the animals come with a story and many can be read throughout the park.

We took the Grandchildren last week. It was hot out but a lot of SHADE there. The kids had fun. Lions n Tigers and several bears. Monkeys and more. Take snacks n cool drinks in. Caveats :the return TO EXIT SIGNS should be installed should you have to EXIT in a hurry. Love it!!
