It’s beautiful! History comes alive in Allaire State Park! The demonstrations of the different jobs from colonial times are really interesting! During Halloween, they do a fun haunted hay ride and different family friendly activities!

I went with the intention of hiking one of trails, but ended up wandering throughout all the old buildings, which are quite neat. I guess I'll have to come back another time to explore further.

When you go to Allaire, you feel as if you are stepping back in time. Well maintained grounds and historic buildings. There are plenty of year round activites and fun things to do. Also a great learning experience. Beautiful in any season!

We took our grandchildren for a ride on the train. Ride was short, but our grandchildren enjoyed it. Afterwards we explored the park and the grandkids made a purchase in the small gift shop.
