We booked an appointment and I think it is better to do so than walk in just to make sure you get accommodated especially on the weekends. My friend and I came in for a scrub/massage and man it was worth it! The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because after the scrub we stayed in the same room (the guy at the Front desk said we could move so next time I'm gonna tell them to do so) and I wasn't keen on a wet massage although it was still great as Sue was awesome! I am not sure if the massage would have been the same if I had just the massage but since I had the scrub, your pretty much in your birthday suit but Sue made me comfortable. She was the only masseuse to ever massage the front part of my body (legs, thighs, hands, arms and even chest!) and it felt really good. All other massages I've ever had have a tendency to just focus on the knots on my upper back/shoulder/neck area but here, equal time was given to each body part. I've started letting masseuses know to give equal attention to my back, thighs and legs. So my experience with Sue was really great. I will come back again and try just the massage to see if there's a difference.
For the locker room area, it was clean and had hair dryers (with a scrub it will get wet!) and shower stalls. You leave valuables at the Front Desk as a deposit as you pay after your service. Robe rentals are $5 but you can bring your own. Slippers are avail no charge. Since we were not using the sauna, we did not have to pay other fees just the scrub and massage. Reservations can only be made over the phone but if you email them with a question they will respond. The facility is not as big as Jeju Spa in Buford, GA but it's good on it's own. For a Monday it wasn't that busy but there were a few people coming in and sitting in the restaurant area which was pretty big.

The facilities were clean and the air temperature was comfortable when going from one area to another. The good tasted great and came in good size portions, but it took a really long time to get cooked food even though there were only a few people eating at the time. We enjoyed the turkish sauna, the jacuzzi and the pool. And while the towels are clean, they were very old. They need to start replacing the towels as they are really worn and raggedy. In the women's bathroom there are 2 mediocre hair dryers, and there are soap dispensers in the showers, but no other spa facilities available which was a bit disappointing. I also think the people working there could make it more enjoyable by being more pleasant - it doesn't seem that anyone enjoys working there.

We made our semi-annual pilgrimage to Saunas, or they are called Banya, this past weekend.
It received a pleasant face lift after a fire from several months back. Now, it has real chairs and tables, where in the past, it was all cheap plastic.
Locker Rooms are large and clean with just enough changing benches. Toilets and showers are clean too.
All Sauna rooms are specious, clean and well heated.
Ample public showers is a nice thing when you come out all sweaty and need to wash off all your sweat.
Personnel is friendly and accommodating. Fresh towels are always available.
Bar sells large cups of herbal teas that are fairly priced. Freshly squeezed juice bar is on hand.
Food menu is good, with plenty to choose from. Taste is a different story. Below par, as far as taste is concerned. Unfortunate.
Place has a Relaxation Room with heated floor. The only thing is that its door is not capable of cancelling out all the noise from the main area.
Overall, this place is worth visiting, as long as you now its caveats.

This place is amazing! What a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. I had always wanted to try the Russian spa/Banya and this place exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly enough, the facilities were clean, they had plenty of towels. They offer many different spa treatments and services, most of which I'll have to try in future visits (definitely going back). They have food and some alcoholic drinks available, and BYOB for a small fee. My favorite part of my day spa relaxation experience was going back and forth from the aroma therapy sauna and the cold plunge. The steam room was a close second. Next time I'm trying the cryotherapy, to many things to in just one visit.

I don't know what spa most of the people on here went to because I didn't have that experience. The guy at front desk rude and not welcoming. We advise it was our first time and nothing just was given 2 plastic bags to lock our thing up at front desk, which I found strange since we were given lockers. The facility is dated and needs some repairs and most of the rooms were not available due to maintenance, I think they need to go back to drawing board and get some tips from other day spas as this was lack luster. I guess if you never been to spa with 5 star treatment and modern decor this will be acceptable to you but for me NOT!!!

Tarra, First time to any place is always an experience on its own. I wish I was there at the time because I would've explained to you everything you need to know to enjoy yourself. Maintenance is a part of the sauna business, especially at the end of the summer we prepare for the winter season (which is when we get very busy). We close each sauna, one at a time, once a week, to change wood, sauna rocks, to make sure our customers get the best experience and heat that they come and expect. With your situation you dealt with an older gentleman, that basically was doing his job. He did not know you were new to our place and he is used to his routine, putting out the plastic bags, collecting a deposit to give a locker key (otherwise how else do we make sure someone pays, when you open a tab at a bar they as for ID & credit card, this is the same concept because you pay at the end). With all that being said, your absolutely right, you should be greeted with a smile, explained everything slowly and in detail so that you know what you are getting into, and for that I am truly sorry that you weren't. Things have changed since then, and I hope one day you will give us another chance, it really is a great place to cleanse and relax. Thank you for taking the time to read this =).

Dirty, crowded and nasty people. Treatment room was cold. There is less than zero customer service. I was charged for a service I never received and I was so afraid to say anything I just paid and shut up. It was full of rude creepy patrons who were loud and obnoxious and I was never so happy to leave a place in my life.

I have been to many spas in my life, but have to say this one was the absolute worst experience EVER. This was for my husband and I for an anniversary outing. From the time I entered, we were asked to keep our personal items at the front desk in a security box (instead of the locker provided in the changing rooms) and then was told that the price of our services do not include the pool and saunas (which was the reason I purchased the voucher as I remembered seeing it online a couple weeks ago). You do not get a warm welcome at this spa. The pool was too cold to use. The saunas, although they have many that they advertise to be different temps, were all very hot (to the point of only being able to stay in a very short time). The Jacuzzi was the highlight; however, and kept at a reasonable temp. We purchase food while waiting for our services which was not good at all. We purchased the scrub and massage service. Oh MY! What a disaster. I was ok with the lack of privacy on the scrub table having more scrubbed than some women may be comfortable with. The scrub was so painful to begin with (although I have to say my skin stayed soft for days after removing all those layers of skin). The massage was painful and must have asked her about 10 times to lighten it up. Each time I asked, the woman just chuckled and kept going. I couldn't wait for it to be over and was so tempted to jump off the table. I was sore for 2 days after the massage. Relaxing? NO Stress-free? NO Enjoyable? NO WAY! There would never be a reason for me to even consider going back.

My wife and I frequent a Korean Spa in Palisade Park and wanted to try something different. Went to BRC with high hopes after reading reviews. First we showered in locker rooms, they were ok at best. Then we went to "deluxe" restaurant and ordered soup and two apps, it took about 30 minutes to get the apps. Food was 2 stars at best. Not so deluxe. Staff were nice but very unprofessional compared to other spas. After eating we went to check out the spa. Many kids running around playing, not much relaxing going on. Spa had 2 small jacuzzis and a few saunas, two of which (infrared and "float") you had to pay extra for! Entrance fee was already $40!!! We stayed less than one hour and our bill came to $120. Never again!!!

I thought I was going to a day spa. This was more like a men's European bath house. I bought a groupon and went one evening with my husband. He was grossed out immediately. I was willing to give it a try. The staff either did not speak English or were not interested in explaining anything that I asked. We were a bit disoriented. Weird #1. Spa is below ground, and convoluted layout. You change into your bathing suits in a locker room and then pass through a restaurant crowded with groups of men, 6-10 at a table, all sweaty and wearing bathing suits with towels on their heads, drinking beer, in order to get into the spa area. Weird #2. Hot tub was icky with dirty foam. Didn't go into it. Pool was nice. Seemed clean, but only a few lounges located around the perimeter, facing sideways, single file, so my hubby and I could not sit together. Weird #3. Variety of saunas were cool. One was like sitting inside a steeping pot of tea, with bunches of leaves all around, but it was hard to enjoy anything because everything seemed like it was coated in giant pools of man sweat to me. The menu looked good, but I was too grossed out to eat anything. If my husband was not with me, I would have not been there longer than 3 minutes. If I had not been with my husband, he would have not even gone in at all.

The guy at the front desk is rude and unhelpful. He forgot the food and drink orders we placed like 3 times. The place is nice and clean but the saunas are ridiculously hot and all the services are very expensive.
