I had knee surgery in January 2023, so I've been binge watching TV. I came across gotham garage, and watched all the episodes on Netflix. I must say, what an incredible dream come true!! All of you fo amazing work and deliver amazing cars, hotrods, ratrods, and trucks. Way back in the day in high school, I was very much into muscle cars and building them up. Your show brought back several great memories and and the crazy times. I can't wait until the next season comes out so I can see what happened with the 57 Kenworth truck. Wish y'all the best of luck, and hope one day to see one of your creations up & close. Best of luck & keep the seasons coming!!

As a birthday gift to my husband i purchased a groupon deal for a 3 lap ride in a Ferrari since his passion is exotic cars. Gotham dream cars offers a sprint experience( which i got) and another package called dream tour which is upward of $800 dollars.
When we got to the location the Gotham folks were well organized.I had registered already on line which you have the option of doing and my wait time was minimal.
They had set up a track in the parking lot of a stadium.Granted it's not a true race track , but it was exciting nevertherless to see these beautiful lamborghini's and Ferrari's(F430) showing off their flashy colors.
An instructor gets in with you, it is a very safe environment controlled by them .You get a quick lesson of your car and then a slow warm up lap. lap 2, 3 and 4 you get to really try out the power of these cars and it's a short lived adrenaline rush. It is yoru choice how fast you go!
The Ferrari was a bit older and looked worn out inside which should never happen to a beautiful car as this.
the lamborghini was a 2010 and engine felt much newer.
The groupon was only for 1 car , but at the event my husband was able to add on the second car for only $75 which was a bargain.
The whole drive experience may have only lasted 8 minutes or so , but it was exciting and great fun while it lasted. To say you have at least driven these cars is bragging rights.
The package comes with free pictures ( about 25 pics on a disc) and for $25 per car you can get your particular drive on video too which is not bad and a memory to have.
The instructors are informative, friendly and do let you step on the gas when the time comes.
Everyone keeps safety in mind, helmuts and protective shower cap for helmuts are given for hygiene.
you will haveto produce you licence, and car insurance. Our particular experience, there were no long lines and you got to drive very quickly after check in . The crew is efficient and know what they are doing.Thank you Gotham dream cars for putting on these fun events in many cities around the country.
For a car lover this is an ultimate dream and this should be done at least once in your life , if you dont want to rent them for thousands of dollars.
The groupon price was $99 ( with pictures included) but i think the regular price to drive one car is upward of $230 so it is pricey and best wait for a deal.

I didn't do the drive at Englewood, I did it at the Jamaica Queen location.

I found this experience cool, but kind of disappointing. First of all, it was a rainy day and raining pretty good. Feel they should have cancelled and rescheduled. Also, the "track" are orange cones set up in a casino parking lot; there was one straightaway of about 400 feet and the track was maybe 1/4 mile long. There is no way you could really open it up. I maybe hit 80-85 mph.

Anpother thing I found disappointing was the car selection. On the site, it lists the cars and say they are available at certain locations. When we got there, there were only 4 cars, 1 was a Ferrari available at a $100 upgrade and the 490 HP Aston Martin I wanted to drive was a 390 HP Aston Martin. Also, the experience is run out of trailers, and sort of looks white trash. Workers there are also very young and kind of "uninterested".

For $259, I feel it should have been more exciting and longer than a 4 minute experience. In the 10 minutes I was there total- there were about 6 other people there...thats more than $1500 in a few minutes. Take the money and buikld a decent 3/4-1 mile permanent track and design it where you can maybe open it up to over 100 and still keep the safety.

Was a cool driving a $200,000 car but would not pay to do it again. Not worth it.

I purchased a sprint package from Groupon for my father. The whole event was nothing but one giant disappointment. The event was in Utah and as I look at Gotham's website I see that Utah is no longer a location available. Here is the feedback I received from my father:

This was my first such experience with your company and with your offer to drive a "dream car". Driving either a Ferrari or a Lamborghini is exciting, no doubt.

However, the actual experience was much less than expected. I was pretty disappointed in the overall event. My reservation was for 10:00am and I arrived approximately 30 minutes early. I stood in a short line to register, but that still took 15 minutes. Once I got to the front of the line, I was told to go away until it was closer to 10:00am. (I was not allowed to register. I later learned "registering" was showing my driving license and insurance card). When I got back in line to register the line was much longer…I managed to register by 10:30.

I stood and watched as almost all participants wanted the Lamborghini. This was true from the time I initially arrived. Had I been able to register when I first arrived, I could have driven the Ferrari right away and left. As it was, my drive did not finish until it was after 11:30am. (The Lamborghini was actually taken away for service while I waited so only the Ferrari was available.)

The total time in the car, after waiting more than an hour, was approximately 2 minutes. The drive was so controlled that any sense of driving the car was terribly reduced. I did not expect to be allowed to put the car and myself in any danger, but this drive was far too limited. I do believe I could go to the Ferrari dealership and get a better driving experience for free.

Finally, I asked two of your staff a simple question, "What year is the Ferrari?" neither could answer. The staff was young and did not seem very knowledgeable about the cars.

I recently finished the driving experience in Pelham, Alabama. Our original scheduled date was postponed from June to September and we were never explained why. When we arrived 30 minutes before our drive time,it was apparent that the young girls running the registration did not know what they were doing. We couldn't even register onsite until 30 minutes after our scheduled drive time. 1 of the 2 cars they brought did not even run so everyone had to use the same car which made the process go even slower. The 3 laps was on a track in a small parking lot so the time driving was about 2 minutes. For a 2 PM drive time, we didn't get finished until after 4 PM and that was with a 2 minute drive. Worse than Disney Land!

bamaboy2060 - Sorry to hear about your experience this past weekend. Unfortunately, the Ferrari was involved in a minor accident the week before, which resulted in loss of use for your event. If a car in unsafe to drive, we will not run it as we will not put participants' or our instructors' safety at risk. Regardless, our event did not meet your expectations which I apologize for. I know that we are capable of executing a top of the line event, and hope that you will consider joining us in the future. Kindly contact me at sam@gothamdreamcars.com to further discuss.

This is a leisurely drive through cones in a parking lot. It might as well have been in a Honda Civic. The "track" is not long enough to get above 70 mph or leave second gear. The funny thing is that the "instructor" asked my wife "Is that the fastest you've ever driven?" after her drive. Ridiculous! We drove that fast in our Ford Expedition on the way to the event. Not only that, the picture CD that came with it was blank. Don't waste your money!

Hi Chad - Our Dream Car Sprint is an autocross event. It clearly describes this on our website, and the intent of the event is not to reach triple-digit speeds, but more to get a better understanding of the car's acceleration, braking and handling. It is a technical course that is designed for lap times. In regards to your photo issue, I apologize for the inconvenience and can have a Sprint Manager look into this for you. Kindly email me at sam@gothamdreamcars.com and I would be happy to assist!

Note: Dream car tour and dream car sprint are two VERY different things. The "Sprint" often offered on Groupon and other sites is a short two minute activity ...one car and up sell pressure. Everyone there I spoke with left unhappy.

My friend bought us, each, three laps so he could say he drove an 'exotic car'. Three laps on what amounts to an oversize go-cart track... it is all over in less than a few minutes: oh,.woopie doo. Disclosure: I have driven 'good' performance cars for most of my driving life and this is a warning to you who have also drove 'good' performance/sports cars - I wager that you will find this a waste of money. In brief: the six year old 2008 Lamborghini had been driven excessively hard over the years. It was running crappy, way below what it should be. It needed a good tune-up. The car had 'engine governor' that stops you from pushing the car to what it potential could do. Then, to top this off, add one Gotham "instructor" who replaces your x-wife or x-mother-in-law telling you how to drive for three laps. What a serious waste of $$ and time. Look if you have only driven a Nissan Leaf, VW, Prius etc then this could be an OK event for you - otherwise AVOID

I bought a dream car sprint for my boyfriend as a gift. The event was in New Britain Connecticut.
First, I was charged twice for the Dream Car Sprint. Not sure if they do this hoping that some won't notice, but I did right away. Several calls to my bank and the company and I eventually managed to get the extra charge reversed.
The day of the event, we arrived early as advised...and we were told that there were not two cars, as advertised...but only one old beater Ferrari. One of the staff members (sorry mostly young teens) had totalled the Lamborghini that morning.
We waited about an hour with the other disgruntled customers, and finally got to drive the ONE car that was available for the price I paid. They offered an expensive upsell for an additional hundred or so dollars. This was a nicer and fancier Ferrari...we passed on being ripped off by that offer.
My boyfriend's "training" as they advertised...was one slow lap with the "instructor"...all he said was "not too fast, and no screeeching tires" ...he was then allowed 3or VERY short laps around cones in a small parking lot. It really was impossible to go above 40-50my mph. The total "sprint" time? Less than two minutes.
The one positive while there was the photographer who took his/our photos. She was lovely.
After the event, Gotham Dream Cars contacted me. I let the person know that we were unhappy and why, and the only response was..."yes, New Britain is our shortest course." No kidding. No apology or anything at all.
This company is a rip off...they will try to upsell you to get what you paid for in the first place, and make no apologies for not delivering what they advertise.
A disappointing waste of time and money. I feel taken advantage of.

First off what a great service you provide to your customers. My only complaint was my instructor talked the whole time about being deployed to Afghanistan. This was very disconcerting while I drove it turned what should have been a respite for me into a very sober moment. I don't get any Vacations and this was a treat my wife gave me for my birthday - it was a huge sacrifice for her to spend so much money on this treat to have it more or less ruined by the instructor Her & I together do not earn much in fact we r on the poverty line. While he was yacking away it became distracting and on the 2nd lap I had been driving very slow I accidentally shifted to first gear he damn near bit my head off - then on the 3rd lap he said oh you can drive fast now. It was fun but he made it anti-climatic :(
