This is a great place to go year round, but obviously better in the summer when the Splashplex part is open. The Splashplex complex is a waterpark that is very good for kids up to about 12-13 years old. After that age I think a "real" waterpark is more appropriate. The pools and slides are really fun and family friendly. The majority of the lifeguards are very professional. Indoor is a year round amusement park. They have go-karts, rides, arcades and laser tag. Similar to Splashplex, I think kids over the age of 13 will think the place is too small for them. The go-karts in particular are nice and quick and lots of fun! Both locations are well kept, clean and the I think the pricing is comparable to other similar locations. Overall, a fun place to visit!

I went here back in 2017 to replay MagiQuest again. I really wanted to beat Charlock the red dragon there as I wanted to do it since I was 11 years old. I was very upset to see the game replaced by a Funtron. The Lazer Gun map was much bigger originally right next to it. Why did they put the money and effort to replace such a classic game with this modern trash? I know this is mostly Great Wolf Resort's fault due to the acquisition of Creative Kingdoms. I came here to find the most annoying waste of my money, time, gas, and Birthday. I will never spend my money here ever again. I will just stick to the Poconos Location and I will have to drive farther to Play MagiQuest. This place already had it's fate sealed since MagiQuest closed. I hope this place goes bankrupt and shuts down. Worst Birthday ever! I can't believe capitalism destroyed my childhood. Never again. Just another childhood place ruined for easy money.

Horrible experience. Went on a Monday after school to take my nephews and nieces. For starters, the employees acted like they did not want to be there. The place was not busy at all, so I don’t understand why everyone looked so upset. I had to look for a cashier so that I could purchase wristbands. After she came, she had such a nasty attitude. I honestly wanted to leave after this first encounter and I should have. After purchasing wristbands, the kids went on some rides and did the go karts while I was holding their coats. I then decided to look for a coat check or lockers. I asked this one guy and he was unsure (how don’t you know when you work here). Then he says there may be one in the front and points in the direction. I start walking and see another employee who tells me she has never heard of them having a coat check. I then ask her “it’s winter, where do your guest put their belongings when they come?” She says “I don’t know, i guess they walk around with them”. This really pissed me off. I continue to walk towards the front and I see a coat check, however, no one was there. Someone at the front tells me that it’s closed. The girl I previously spoke to finds me and tell me that they do not do coat check on weekdays. HOW DO YOU GUYS EXPECT YOUR GUESTS TO ENJOY THEMSELVES WHEN YOU HAVE THEM WALKING AROUND WITH THEIR WINTER COATS?! Another issue I had: I’m one adult with 4 kids to keep an eye on, so my nephew asked if he could do go carts while the other kids were on a ride. I saw that there wasn’t an attendant over there so I tell him to go ask the attendant (who was standing in a group with other employees talking) if he could please do the go karts. I watch him as he goes and he quickly comes back looking a little sad. I ask him what happened and he tells me that someone told him that he has to ask the go kart attendant. Now, I’m really pissed because the guy is literally over there talking instead of doing his job. I ask the attendant who is working the ride I’m standing next to who the go kart attendant was and she tells me it’s the same guy. So now, I go over there and ask the group of employees who is working the go karts. He says he is and I asked him if my nephew came over and asked if he could go on the go karts. He says to me that my nephew came over but didn’t say anything. Now, my nephew is 12 years old. I know for sure he came over and asked and he would NOT lie to me about that. So now, I feel like the go kart attendant wanted to play games with me. I have so many more issues from this ONE day but I’m getting mad again writing this review honestly lol. Moral of the story: FUNPLEX IN EAST HANOVER, NJ... PLEASE HIRE BETTER EMPLOYEES AND REVAMP YOUR TRAINING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to your employees, you guys have lost a customer who has LOVED funplex as a child and have had multiple birthday parties there years ago. DO BETTER.

3 adults 5 children (13/18/10/7/5) all came for a night of fun. Rode go-carts, a round of laser tag, the ball pit area, and some video games... ALL 8 had a blast.... The price seemed high BUT when you broke it down it came to less than $20 a person for hours of entertainment

Never been and had no interest, but I was pleasantly wowed. So many game choices and large space. Even bigger on the other side. Great for corporate events as well as birthday parties, baby showers, etc. Possibilities are endless. The food was terrific. Staff very pleasant. We had exhibits upstairs.
