I went to the Funplex in Mt. Laurel Friday with my three children and was extremely disappointed in the experience we had for the pretty penny spent there.
They require you to purchase admission for anyone 36 inches and taller so naturally I bought all three of my kids wristbands since they are all above 36 inches. We planned on staying a while so it seemed like the best value since it included unlimited rides and games. I also upgraded my own admission because I was advised at entrance that some rides my require and adult to ride with the younger kids.
My youngest child was only able to ride ONE ride in the entire place! My middle child was allowed to ride most rides but only with an adult which meant she too could only ride ONE ride in the entire place because I could not bring my youngest on the ride with us. I feel like I spent all this extra money for no reason since my kids couldn’t do what was advertised. I mean unlimited rides on one ride?? Come on!! I feel completely ripped off!
I did speak to a supervisor who wasn’t very helpful or sympathetic in my opinion and most workers there were very rude. My oldest even commented on how rude they were and looked as if they didn’t want to be there.
Needless to say we will not be returning to the Funplex again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. The people running admissions should have told me there wasn’t going to be much for my younger kids to do in the ride department. They should have tried to help me figure which package would be better for us and most cost efficient.

We have been coming here for 15 years. Really shocked at new policy. All have to buy at least $25 ticket. So if you are coming with grandparents etc... to watch kids play, you all have to buy ticket. So two parents two grandparents who are not participating would have to pay 100 dollars just to enter terrible.

Hello. As our amusement park has grown over the years we have moved into an admission based operations. To keep our park family friendly we do give value with the purchase Funband admission wristband. This includes 60 arcade credits that can be used between everyone in your group in the arcade and on the attractions. We are also currently offering a 10% seniors discount. We appreciate your feedback. Please feel free to reach out to stephen@thefunplex.com with any further comments, concerns, or suggestions you wish to share. Thank you.

I came with my school for a field trip and we were honestly having a good time. We decided to go play laser tag, and it was obvious the two ladies working there were pretty angry. They refused to go over instructions or help us put on our vests. Several times they told us to shut the hell up. They were really nice to the boys with us (around 4) and pretty rude to the girls (about 15, we wore the hijab). After the game ended pretty early, they let the boys out then started yelling at us. They started cursing at us, threatened to beat us, and when we started to argue back, they locked us in the room. They said we couldn't come back in because we ran in the game, however, the boys did the same thing and didn't even get warned. Any other of our female schoolmates (also wore the hijab) weren't allowed to play even though they did nothing prior. Anyone who tried to ask what happened got yelled at was told to get the hell away.

My daughter celebrated her 13th birthday yesterday at East Hanover location with her friends and I want to share our experience. First of all, my daughter had a blast and so did her friends! They were fully entertained from the beginning to the end. The kids won't stop talking about it and most of the kids ended up staying even after the party ended to use their credits. They also said that they had the best host (LOQUAN) and I agreed ! I also want to say THANK YOU to the 2 gentlemen Supervisors who accommodated me when I and/or the kids needed something. Unfortunately, I never got their names but I hope they are reading this. This is the 2nd time my daughter had a party here (none package the 1st time) with a group of 18 kids/adults 2 years ago and also had a great time so I highly recommend this place.

This is a great place to go year round, but obviously better in the summer when the Splashplex part is open.

The Splashplex complex is a waterpark that is very good for kids up to about 12-13 years old. After that age I think a "real" waterpark is more appropriate. The pools and slides are really fun and family friendly. The majority of the lifeguards are very professional.

Indoor is a year round amusement park. They have go-karts, rides, arcades and laser tag. Similar to Splashplex, I think kids over the age of 13 will think the place is too small for them. The go-karts in particular are nice and quick and lots of fun!

Both locations are well kept, clean and the I think the pricing is comparable to other similar locations.

Overall, a fun place to visit!

We went today (Tuesday) and were told we had to buy a wristband, including the water park, even though we only wanted to play the indoor games. My husband and I (both seniors) took our 2 grandchildren, aged 9 and 11. We did not plan to do any rides, etc, but still had to buy wristbands. We were supposed to get a senior discount, but don't think it was applied. I'm still confused about what the wristband bought us. We played a few of the claw machine games, but were quickly told that we had no credits left. The kids went on a couple of rides, and drove the go carts. They had a good time, but it feels like spending over $200 (including an extra game card for $25) did not buy us very much. Oh yes, they did get to bowl, so they enjoyed that.
It was NEVER clear what was included in the price of the wristband.

I am extremely disappointed that I could not enjoy a fun day at Funplex with my children! I bought each of them expensive wristbands expecting to sit on the bench to supervise them (in case they needed any help) and to watch them play. Instead I am spending the day in my car asking my older kids to supervise my younger ones. Why? Because I am expected to pay for an expensive admission to sit on a bench to watch my kids!
There are many fun places to take children to and it’s my choice if I want to do any of the activities. I don’t have to pay to walk in the door.
You need to re-think your new all-admission policy. You are now having unsupervised children in your facility. Why would you want to do that?

This place is awesome... even as I write this people are walking around saying how cool this is 🙂 foam frenzy is fun with foam balls , it has shooters .
We got the highest wristband, it has a bar code to scan for everything. Drinks are $3 and some of the food is pricey. This location has a water area outside for the summers.

I went here back in 2017 to replay MagiQuest again. I really wanted to beat Charlock the red dragon there as I wanted to do it since I was 11 years old. I was very upset to see the game replaced by a Funtron. The Lazer Gun map was much bigger originally right next to it. Why did they put the money and effort to replace such a classic game with this modern trash? I know this is mostly Great Wolf Resort's fault due to the acquisition of Creative Kingdoms. I came here to find the most annoying waste of my money, time, gas, and Birthday. I will never spend my money here ever again. I will just stick to the Poconos Location and I will have to drive farther to Play MagiQuest. This place already had it's fate sealed since MagiQuest closed. I hope this place goes bankrupt and shuts down. Worst Birthday ever! I can't believe capitalism destroyed my childhood. Never again. Just another childhood place ruined for easy money.
