Fee admission. Many waking trails. Wear long pants. Don't forget your bug spray. Beautifully preserved lake and an abundance of wildlife.

On the small side and the trails even when it hasn't rained have sections with inches of mud. There are better hikes in NJ and this place seems to be underutilized and rather a large waste of public funds.

Is an abandoned open mine. The pit has now filled with water to become a small lake. Lots of birds. Friendly and knowledgable staff-only 2 regular employees due to budget cuts.

Nice trails and beautiful scenery at the Preserve. I wasn't inside during my last visit but have been before and it's quite informative. Good walking trails and nothing too advanced or strenuous.

It's a nice location to enjoy nature, an easy hike, relax by the lake, bird watch and take in nature.

Never know what birds you see while you stroll through the preserve. Spraying is a must, but it is worth it.
