I went today with my 10yr old daughter and my 72yr old mother. What an AMAZING place!! The owners love of the animals is truly extraordinary. Both owners gave extremely informative talks about all the animals on the preserve. They were able to get all the wolves to howl together which was truly a once-in-a lifetime experience. I was sad... The preserve is very easy to get to. Close to the highway. It is a wonderful thing to get so close to the wolves. The owners are very knowledgeable and friendly.

On a recent family camping trip, we decided to visit this attraction because it was on the property of the campgrounds (Camp Taylor). Our ticket price was discounted because we were camping on the grounds. We took the shuttle bus to the Preserve. When the tour started, the guide, Jim, provided us with a tremendous amount of information about the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and all the information we learned. The wolves, bobcats, and foxes were all so interesting to learn about. The owners were full of interesting facts, and the animals were gentle and beautiful to see.

The Lakota Wolf Preserve was a wonderful experience. The owner gives a great tour and all of the animals are clearly well cared for and happy. It is a truly incredible experience being so close to these rare animals. In addition to the wolves, the Preserve also has bobcats and foxes as well. The tour is fun for kids and... More

This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to get up-close and personal with wild animals in their natural habitat. The owner Jim and his wife Becky are very knowledgeable and happy to share it, friendly, and obviously passionate about these animals. The grounds are well-groomed and the flower beds are beautiful! Buy your tickets at Camp Taylor and ride the 5-minute shuttle... More

We had been wanting to come to the Wolf Preserve for quite some time. Although the tour hours were not as advertised, (there was no Tuesday tour for some reason) we booked for 10:30 on a Wednesday. The short hike to the wolves was nice. A shuttle was available as well. The tour we attended was way too crowded. 55... More

The wolves are gorgeous and you get to see them up close as they come by to get a snack from the tour guide. If you're lucky, you'll get to hear the wolves howl. It's a very informative tour packed full of interesting facts. You also get to see a few foxes and bobcats, which are absolutely adorable by the... More
