This is a terrific state park with very clean beaches, accommodations, and concessions. The beach wasn't crowded at all, which was a plus, but we had only been there a half hour... read more

We rented a pontoon boat for the first time today (8/20) and had a fantastic experience. Pretty much all thanks to the guys running the place. They were unbelievable! So friendly and helpful. Took all of our stuff (cooler, rods, gear, you name it) to the boat so all we had to worry about was paying and getting our two... More

The park and beautiful and clean with wide paths everywhere, picnic areas spread throughout the facility as well as clean and spacious restrooms. The boat rentals were decently priced although we chose not to rent one so i don't have much to say on that. It's truly a place to spend the day relaxed, play a game of volleyball, take... More

Great place to find a quiet spot, plant a camp chair and take in the scenery. Beach area looked fun. Also places to rent boats and camp.

This is a terrific state park with very clean beaches, accommodations, and concessions. The beach wasn't crowded at all, which was a plus, but we had only been there a half hour when a squall came up. When some thunder rolled, the lifeguards cleared everyone out of the water and off the beaches. Everyone was also warned not to seek... More

One of our favorite places to go with the dogs to take a walk or have a picnic. Clean grounds, beautiful scenery, and very peaceful off season. We wouldn't probably go there on a Saturday in the summer as it is packed with people.

Beautiful area for boating, hiking, or picinicking. It was raint the day we were there and it was still a beautiful hike. There are playgrounds for the kids. Restrooms were not open yet when we were there, but they looked like nice buildings. Lots of deer. Even had 3 walk out onto the path in front of me before heading... More

So much beauty here! I love being by water and this location didn't disappoint. Lots of places to picnic. Beautiful trees around and the grounds are so nicely kept up. Great for a family outing.
