Pleasantly surprised

A nice park, people were walking their dogs, sledding down a small hill, cross country skiing and walking around the pond a nice path 3 times around is 1 mile.
Very nice place to enjoy nature.

Complete Recreational Facility
Mar 2017 • Solo
It's 85 acres of recreational land located 1/2 mile west of route 206 in Chester. I've been to the park to participate in the Morris County 4-H fair. Other special events include the Chester Volunteer Fire Company Annual Carnival and Fireworks and the Chester Lions Club's Octoberfestt. It's a complete recreational facility with two tennis courts, a children's playground, a sledding hill, a pond which can be used for ice skating when the ice is 4+ inches thick and a 1/4 mile walk/run track around the pond. It also offers an access to the Patriots Path hiking trail. They have multi-sports fields for soccer, softball and baseball. Note that some of these fields require a permit.

Nice Park
Sep 2014 • Solo
Plenty of space to walk around. Clean and never too crowded, unless there's events. Always a pleasure to visit with the pups and get some easy exercise in at the nice pond with mini track around it.

Chubb Park is a great park in Chester, New Jersey. I frequently use the tennis courts which are very convenient. There are many soccer fields and baseball fields which are great for town sports. Overall, it is a very nice park to go to.
