Fantastic Fall Fun
Oct 2019
Came here for the corn maze. It did not disappoint. They have an app you can use to cheat but we did it without and found all clues in two hours. Challenging but so much fun. Stayed to buy a pumpkin and shop in the country store. They had live music and a welcoming environment. Though we don't have kids there seemed to be a lot of fun activities for families.

Best Corn Maze in Chester
Jun 2019 • Family
Just a great family place to have fun that is run by a local Chester family who does a nice job running a really good year round farm market. It's too bad some people miss this place coming into Chester because it's right off Rt.24 near Redwoods Restaurant. They also have a nice store on the way to Long Valley which is just past Alstede Farms. It's a good place that should have more visibility and it's not overcrowded like Alstede Farms has become over the years.

Farm Share is FANTASTIC
Oct 2018 • Family
Not only is this a great place for fresh produce and flowers, along with a thoroughly enjoyable corn maze - albeit challenging - their farm share is wonderful. They have many locations in NJ where you can pick it up weekly (& in some places have it delivered) & each week it is such a welcome addition to regular grocery shopping. I can’t say enough good things about it, from the freshest summer blueberries and Swiss chard (I actually made the soup included in the weekly recipe sheet and it was amazing) to all the different apples in the Fall. Definitely worth a visit and if you choose to get the farm share you will not be disappointed.

Excellent corn maze
Oct 2018 • Friends
We came here for the corn maze which took us about two hours to complete. This year's theme was Edison which was a nice tribute to NJ. While doing the corn maze you can find picture and word clues related to Edison's life. These clues don't help you get out of the maze but do help pass the time in the maze. Most people were looking for the clues, but you could always just walk through the maze. There's also a free GPS app that helps you find your way in the maze. After we found the clues about Edison, we used the app to help get out.

Besides the corn maze they also had gem mining, duck races, pumpkin picking and some other fall activities that kids would like.

I can't wait to see what theme they do next year. I'll definitely be back.

Great Day out
Sep 2018 • Family
i have been here 3 years running and am never disappointed. Firstly- great apple picking- infact I always come back with way too many apples....They have have a great vegetable farm so able to pick tomatoes, eggplants, peppers and corn,,,,,Lastly, the highlight is the corn maze. The maze is a 10 acre maze and it's totally fun if you like these sorts of things. I have gone with both my children who are late teens and we always have a ball. If you go, you must try teh apple cider donuts... if you get them when they have afresh batch....you won't stop eating them. A wonderful day out and fun for all...
Tip - if you are panning to do the corn maze, wear comfortable shoes and there is a lot of walking on uneven gound. If you want help to get out of the maze, you can download the map that will guide you through the maze. I would advise tp not use it as you miss some of the fun:)

Corn Maze is incredible
Sep 2018 • Family
We heard about the corn maze from a friend, so we went down on a Saturday. What an awesome time. The corn maze was amazing! It’s extremely difficult if you don’t use the App, but I like a good challenge! However, after original excitement, the kids were getting annoyed, since we seemed to be going in circles. So we went to the app, which helped a ton....and the kids were back having fun! Be prepared though for a lot of walking on rocky ground! I couldn’t believe the work that went into this corn maze....it’s really remarkable.

After we completed the maze, they had a lot of great stuff for the kids. The kids had an awesome time, and we will make sure to be back every year, since they do a new type of corn maze each year. One suggestion: offer, for sale, buttered corn on the cob....for some strange reason, I was craving corn on the cob after going through the corn maze :). Wonderful time!

Best corn maze

By far the best corn maze every year! And we even got to bring our dog! The shop is worth visiting after the maze. Get some snacks and bring home a pot pie and dessert pie!

Total Ripoff

Let me start by saying I rarely write a bad review, but this place deserves it. We looked for a farm with both a corn maze for the kids and apple picking for the families. We went with a big group of parents and teenagers. The corn maze was $13.00 and we sent the kids in first. They had a great time and then came out to meet us to pick apples. We went to buy our bags $23.00 for a peck and went towards the Apple picking. We were then told that the adults had to buy a $13.00 corn maze ticket to be able to go pick apples. The corn maze is not near the apple picking, so there is no fear that we would sneak in. So our family of three would be paying about $60.00 for Apple picking. We sent the kids in alone and waited outside for them. They couldn’t even fill the peck bags because they we heavy so we were short several apples. In all the kids had a good time while the parents waited outside for three hours. Luckily it was a beautiful day. But in all the farms and all the years we have never had to pay for the ability to walk in the fields. We were wondering why the farm wasn’t crowded on a Sunday afternoon. I guess we know now.

Best Farm in Chester Without the Massive Crowds
Oct 2016
While I think Chester has some very good farms, Stony Hill is the best for a variety of reasons. First they do not charge you for everything. It's simply one price for the fun and games. Second, they have some tasty pies & donuts and an excellent selection of fruits & vegetables.

Corn Maze and Pie
Sep 2017 • Family
We go every year we can. Opening day was great. Maze is so much fun. We split up and compete for fastest completion getting all clues. Great time with family and ALWAYS get several fresh pies in the store as we leave. SO GOOD.
