About
Sunset Beach is one of the East Coast's most unique beaches. Voted Top 25 beaches by Tripadvisor in 2013, Sunset Beach is located at the very tip of South Jersey and the end of Sunset Boulevard. Sunset Beach offers an unobstructed view of spectacular sunsets over the waters of the Delaware Bay. Atmospheric conditions caused by the of sea breezes across the bay waters create spectacular colors as the sun sinks below the horizon. For over 50 years just off the coast of Sunset Beach lies the concrete ship "Atlantus". Thousands of visitors come annually to view the cracked, weather beaten hull and watch the sunset over the remains of the ship. You'll love shopping their gift shops, playing a round of mini golf, beachcombing for Cape May diamonds or grabbing a bite to eat at The Grille (Grille open April-October.) Be sure to experience the Evening Flag Ceremony Honoring an American Veteran every evening at 7pm Memorial Weekend through August 31. (Saturdays in September at 6pm)

I imagine during the summer this complex could be overwhelming. I say complex because the mini golf, grille, and shop are all together. When we traveled the grille was closed and it was after high season so it was tolerable in terms of parking and crowd.
The shop was quite large and had a variety of items and price ranges. I felt most items were very reasonably priced. Highly recommend - you can find unique glass art or the really "souvenir" items kids love. The restrooms were clean. We needed directions to some hiking trails and both people at the counter were super friendly and gave us additional info on area walking trails.

Every year it's a tradition to come to Sunset Beach and shop at the 2 stores Sunset Beach gifts. I love the assortment of gifts from foods, beachwear, jewelry, handmade soaps, lotions and gifts, military gifts. Every year I like to buy a new headband called a bandeau they are comfy and colorful and I have never found them elsewhere. You can also purchase jewelry made from the famous cape may diamonds. I love to get a pina colada at the snack shack and watch the sunset set amongst the shipwreck. It is sad they are not doing the flag ceremony due to co vid that's stupid given there is no regulation to be on the beach and patriotism is so needed right now.

Typically souvenir shop. Nothing exciting - very overcrowded. Pretty over priced. Save money and drive over to Cape May Wicker — lots of unique gifts and very reasonable prices. The only think nice s as bd reason I gave it an average is that you can go see the sunken ship!

Highly recommend witnessing the flag ceremony & sunset. Visit the gift shop & Grab a bite to eat across the street. We saw dolphins as the sun set with time left to grab a few souvenirs at this lovely shop!

What a beautiful way to end the day but get here early as parking is limited. The shop offers many items and look for the local craftsmen contributions. Something for everyone to take home a little piece of Cape May Point.
Enjoy

Had a great plate of french fries with a nice burger at the sunset grill! Located at the end of Cape May in the bay side!
Drive Sunset blvd to the end! The Sunset Beach gift shop, the flag ceremony and the Grill all share the same beach and parking lot.
Ate many a breakfast sandwich here! In the last bunch of years! Try it! Fast! Yet Better than any Fast food! Anywhere

We have been shopping here for years - beats the prices of ANY of the "Uptown stores" and has items that are directly related to Cape May Point - no just Cape May.
Which makes me feel even better since I am a resident of Cape May Point. I recommend this store to all of my visitors. Great view, Cape May Diamonds, Sunset ceremony in the summer - it doesn't get any better!

If visiting Cape May, you have to swing by Sunset Beach. This is the location of the sunken concrete ship that is visible from the beach. It makes beautiful photographs along with the beautiful beach view. Along the beach is the huge giftshop that everyone flocks to, and theres a grill for food as well. The giftshop has a large selection of gifts that are reasonably priced (which is a relief considering how expensive giftshops usually will run)
Its a fun little spot to visit and check out the beautiful beach, eat, grab some gifts and enjoy the sunset!

It's refreshing to find a souvenir store, especially in Cape May, that doesn't limit itself. Most Cape May stores seem devoted to separating your wallet from its contents as quickly as possible. And, if you like being spendy, you'll find satisfaction here. But for the majority of us, you'll find lovely gifts and souvenirs that you can actually afford AND like! Parking can be a bit of an issue, but that's brcause the property adjoins a protected wetland; just arrive early to get better parking. The property is family-owned, and everybody is as pleasant and friendly as can be. Frankly, if you were to ask me where you should go for gifts for the folks back home, this is where I'd point you in a heartbeat.
