Our family has visited the Cape May County Park & Zoo many times over the years and it is AWESOME! Entrance to the park, parking, and zoo is by donation and this place has something for everyone! There are many cool animal exhibits inside and out at the zoo; plenty of space for kids to play and run around on... More

My podiatrist told me about this wonderful, small zoo! It has enough animals to keep you interested and there is plenty of shade. No admission charge but they do take donations. My only complaint is the crowds and avoiding all the strollers.

This attraction is free but encourages donations to maintain care of the animals which we had no problem with for a family of 5. There is walking involved to explore the zoo and animals, resting benches, a park for the kids to play before or after entrance, food stand to eat prior to entrance or exit with healthy food choices... The most enjoyable visit to a zoo in years. Setting amazing; animal enclosures so respectful of the creatures. A true pleasure! And free! They ask only for a donation.

The zoo is a fantastic way to spend 2-3 hours and it is absolutely free. They do ask for donations and I can't imagine anyone refusing but it isn't required. The grounds are spotless and the animal enclosures are clean and provide ample room for the animals to roam. It was in the low 80's during our visit but the... More

Love the Zoo. It is free to visit they ask for a donation if you would like. The park had a lot of shade, many animals to see like camels, monkeys, zebras and etc. we brought a picnic lunch and ate at one of the picnic tables. Definitely a great place to go

We visit Cape May Zoo every year on our vacation. There are so many exhibits and habitats to visit. One of the first places you visit is the petting zoo, complete with goats, pigs, chickens and llamas. There is a Bird house, and amphibian house and a butterfly garden. We love the African Savannah, complete with zebras and giraffes, and... More

We visited the zoo on a Sunday in July & it was a great experience & a fun non beach activity. I never would have thought to visit a zoo while vacationing at the Jersey Shore, but this was a huge treat. There are lots of exhibits housing all types of animals from around the world with very informational signage... More
