Best of the back bay tours.

The quality of the experience is unmatched. Crew is well versed not only with the back bays of Cape May County, but also with the wildlife seen. A good deal for the money.

I highly recommend this salt marsh tour. The crew was funny and welcoming and even offered us cheese and crackers. They were extremely knowledgeable and were able to identify every bird we saw and answer all our questions about the marsh. When it became too dark to see any more wildlife, we enjoyed the gorgeous sunset views on our way... More

I brought a group of 15 from Buffalo NY and we were thrilled with the boat trip. This was a birdwatching group and Travis and Sam did a great job at finding us many species of birds as well as introducing us to saltmarsh ecology. Travis and Sam were exceedingly knowledgeable, personable and enthusiastic. It doesn't get much better than... More

This was by far the best salt marsh tours we have ever done. Travis and Sam were very knowledgeable, excellent guides, enthusiastic, informative and eager to show us as much as possible. We were very much impressed with the marsh and the fauna. We had the perfect weather plus it was low tide. So, we got to see a variety... More

We signed up for this tour pretty last minute, and so glad we did. Travis and Sam were our hosts, and they were very welcoming and friendly. The tour itself was beautiful and I learned a lot about the wildlife in the area. The price was reasonable. We both enjoyed this tour - highly recommend!

My husband and I took this tour in the first week of October. I was very pleased with the knowledge of the nature guide, the captain and the staff. Water was high due to some offshore winds and the tides. The team came up with a plan that allowed us to see some portions of the marsh that are not... More

My husband and I took this salt marsh safari tour last Sunday and had a great experience. Saw lots of wonderful birds during the fall migration - Bald eagles, northern harrier, egrets and cormarants galore, forster's terns, swallows, great blue herons, sandpipers, and american wigeons. No osprey, but we were quick to forgive that. Margo, the guide, was very knowledgeable... More

Our naturalist was well informed and helped us to understand the salt marsh and learn to spot and identify the wildlife there ourselves. He also had a variety of items and small salt marsh creatures on board to give the children and all of us the opportunity to touch as well as see the interesting creatures around us. Binoculars were... More

We really enjoyed this adventure. The guides were very knowledgeable about the area and birds. We even had two little children along who loved seeing some real critters up close. Thanks so much.
