We visited during August 2020, Covid restrictions and all. The nice thing is there not really that many people on the beach, if they were everybody was really spread apart. We stayed on Beach Avenue right across from the beach just for that purpose. Cape May has one of the nicest beaches in New Jersey…

If you're looking for safe family friendly beaches, Cape May has some of best on the Jersey Shore. It's perfect for a day of fishing, playing in the surf or just relaxing on the beach. My family has been making memories here for many years. Young family members caught their fish on the jetty, built sand castles and learned to body surf. We visited this beach twice over the course of our three day Labor Day weekend visit. Staying in a nearby hotel allowed for a convenient walk to the beach. We had to pay $6 per person entry fee upon entering the beach, which was a little inconvenient. The sand is really fine and the water temperature was acceptable for our high standards. It did get quite crowded on this holiday weekend , so getting here early to claim a space is definitely recommended. We had a good time while here at Cape May Beach.…
