This is so worth the price. Probably one of the best things I've ever done in Cape May. The tour guide Susie knew so much about the history and current culture of Cape May that I feel like an expert on the place now!! The food stops were many and they were amazing! Places that i didn't see around corners and places I had passed by I got to try and all the food and treats were way bigger than we thought they'd be! And what's really nice is the pace of the tour. We were never rushed and Susie gave us a chance to chill out and ask questions and just experience the hum of the spaces we were in. We walked all around congress hall (inside and out!), Washington Square and the surrounding area. I would highly reccomend this for couples, friend trips, bridal parties or anyone solo! Just make sure u book quick with them the slots are limited!!!!

This was our second Cape May Food Tour. Great hidden treasures that we would never have known or experienced if we didn't take the tour. Our guide happen to be Mary who started the company 10 years ago. She makes the tour pleasant and extremely informative. I highly recommend this tour to anyone that enjoys great food as well as historical insights of Cape May.

Great tour through downtown Cape May with our tour guide Susie. Many interesting facts about the town and architecture. Can’t forget the food, stopping at different stores and restaurants to sample their food along the way. I would definitely recommend it for anyone interested in trying different foods and learning about the history of Cape May.

This was a great way to see downtown Cape May (our first time in this cute town) and its variety of buildings with character. Very leisurely walk through the downtown area, not intense at all, and a good way to meet new people who you'll be seated with throughout the tour. Our guide Susie was very knowledgeable about not only the town but also the restaurants. Come hungry and be ready for decent portions of foods from the local eateries. Cheese and peanut butter samplings were our favorites!

This was the perfect way to learn more about Cape May, meet new people and try delicious eats! Our guide Susi knew so much about Cape May and its restaurants, and I couldn't believe how much food was given. I didn't eat again for the rest of the day! It's such a good value and the perfect way to do something unique in Cape May. I can't wait to come back and try their other tours.

This was an awesome experience! Our tour guide Susi was very knowledgeable, easy going and fun. The food was delicious each place we visited; I especially loved the lobster and shrimp rolls from Quincy's Original Lobster Rolls over on Washington St. They simply melt in your mouth! It was also great to walk around and see all the fine architecture still intact from years passed and get the history behind it all. Best 3 hours you can spend if you're looking to combine food, art, history and culture.

Three times we’ve had the pleasure of talking, walking, laughing and dining with Cape May Food Tours. The food is always great…but the sharing of knowledge about the area is even better - especially if you take the tour earlier in your vacation to help better plan the days ahead with expert advice. If you really want to get a flavor for the best of beautiful Cape May, then invest a few hours of your time with Mary and Susi…you won’t be disappointed!

This was my family and I’s fourth time doing the Cape May Food Tour. Mary is an excellent tour guide and provides great factual information about Cape May. All the restaurants we attended were amazing and very welcoming! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cape May.

I have taken both tours. One is in downtown Cape May, the other in West Cape May. Downtown offers excellent information on architecture, West offers more history. Both tours are easy walking with frequent stops. The tours are well paced with so many excellent and filling tastings. Come hungry. Our tour guide was Mary. She not only knows the towns but also the people behind the scenes in the restaurants. Every single place we went was a treasure I plan to revisit again. This is a must-do if you are a food lover.

After vacationing in Cape May for many years my husband and I thought we would try something new during our two week stay this September. We decided to try the Cape May Food Tour after we saw it advertised under local attractions. In all the years we have come to the Cape, we have never received less value for our money and were certainly not pleased with our experience.

Several of the dishes were extremely rich and were served at the beginning of the tour. The order of the restaurants visited did not provide for a pleasant sampling experience. Our tour began by sampling a crab focaccia and then we went to have a peanut butter cannoli. From there we received samples of fudge and then on to have a lobster risotto. We visited eight eateries in all, however, three of these places give the public free sample. Not sure why they were included on this tour.

We took a Trolley Tour of Cape May later during our stay for comparision. The Trolley tour guides were more knowledgeable and professional.

We dearly love coming to Cape May every year and visiting the many fine restaurants in the area. We only visited two new restaurants on this tour and based on our experience we did not return to them. This was certainly not worth $130 per couple plus gratuity.
