"Disgraced" is running September 14 through October 14. It is the most moving and thought provoking play that I have seen in many years. Besides the content, the acting is wonderful. Please go see this if you live here or are visiting.

A vintage play that we had never seen, but still wears well. Excellent cast and fun set. Intimate theater with good visibility and comfortable seats. Recommend you purchase seats on line with their easy to manage website. They have year round performances so it is a good option if you are vacationing in Cape May, NJ. Some close by restaurants... We enjoyed our traditional annual sisters' visit to Cape May's live theatre presentation... This time Barefoot in the Park. What fun! Plan ahead. Buy your tickets early. Not a bad seat in the house. And the performances always deliver. Support the arts!

Excellent production. Artistic director, Roy Steinberg was featured in the cast of this Neil Simon comedy. Cape May Stage is located directly across the street from the newly reconstructed Rotary Park and bandstand. We've attended every August for at least the past six years and have always been pleased.

My wife and I visited cape may stage and saw an awesome performance. The theatre is small but the performers were better than most New York shows. We enjoyed the show sex with strangers. Actors put many hour preparing to deliver a quality performance. I recommend you visit cape may stage and please make reservations. Visit 410 bank st. Resturant... More

Hubby and I spent Saturday eve, after an extremely disappointing meal at the Ebbitt Room (again...not sure how this place received such top marks), at the theatre. The performance was "Sex with Strangers." We were very pleasantly surprised. We are thespians and routinely opt for a subscription or two at the wide variety of excellent theatre companies in DC as... More

We saw the play, "The Whipping Man". Very professional cast, excellent production, beautiful historic venue. Air conditioned, too. Seating is tiered, so there is not a bad seat in the house. We'll definitely check them out again on our next visit to the cape.

Having attended at least 200 performances at The Robert Shackleton Playhouse of Cape May Stage over the years I'm still astounded by the quality of entertainment and talent which this organization continues to contribute to the entire Cape May Community and beyond. Kudos to Roy Steinberg and his predecessors who have elevated this theater company to the top of the... More

I attended the opening night of the Cape May Stage powerful production “The Whipping Man” a provocative story about the adjustments in life after the end of the Civil War that kept us on the edge of our seats. The evening started with a wonder event on the stages grounds put on by one of the local Civil War reenactment... More
