We totally agree with Vdegiamimo's review of One Christmas Carol currently playing at Cape May Stage through end of this year. This is an intimate nice theatre with no bad seat. This play is drama not comedy and extremely well produced and well acted. It runs about 90 minutes without intermission. We highly recommend it.

Just saw a performance of One Christmas Carol at Cape May Stage. What a joy! One actor, New York actor Max Baker, playing some 20+ characters in this interpretation of a Christmas classic. An intimate theater. Baker fills the stage. So worth seeing and is just an hour and 20 minutes long.

After a great day on the beach and dinner, what to do? I highly recommend Cape May Stage, a live theater company in beautiful Cape May which showcases the finest actors and plays. The current production, Americn's Sexiest Couple, is very funny and very moving. It was written by the same person who wrote many episodes of MASH, Cheers, and other great TV programs. Try this place! We enjoyed it very much.

Great theater. Saw American Sexiest Couple by Ken Levine. Highly recommend this theater if you are visiting Cape May. Their productions are always professional and entertaining.

What a delight to watch these two short plays...You don't need to be a baseball fan to come away with a GOOD feeling and a positive message...Congrats to all involved..! Go see it and you will score a GRAND SLAM........

I love coming to the Cape May Theater. You always see such innovative shows that are well performed by Broadway and off-Broadway talent. I usually come here at Christmas and in September when I am visiting Cape May.
I went to see the new performance of "Adopt a Sailor at Christmas" which was rewritten for the theater for the holiday performance. It was a very cynical look at New York couples and their quirks at the holidays. The performance was only an hour long which was nice and the play was very amusing and had its comical moments. It was well acted.
The secret to the theater is to get there an hour early and you can 'pay as you wish' tickets for the show. I only paid ten dollars for the show which was nice when you are on a budget and being a single it is easier to get tickets to the show.
Don't miss this little gem of a theater for wonderful cutting edge and new shows being mounted.

Cape May Stage is a small, very professional theater with a wonderful Home town feel, my family and I just love it!! Director Roy and his staff are all awesome and helpful, many of them volunteers. All the actors are fantastic! We live locally and are very fortunate to be able to attend often, but if you're Vacationing in or around the Cape May area, do yourself a favor and get your tickets for the Cape May Stage!

Are there any performances that are kid friendly? Our kids ages are 6, 11, 13, 14, & 17.

Hello, thank you for your question. I am sorry but at this time we do not have any children friendly performances. We suggest looking at Cape May Convention hall as they do have children friendly programming in the summer, The Ocean City Players as well as the PAC center in Middle township.

"Billy Bishop Goes to War" runs through June 23rd. It is an amazing play with music about the ace WW1 Canadian pilot Billy Bishop. It takes you through the beginning to the end of his career with laughter, tears, and fun music.
