We get views of the wildlife of the salt marsh that people almost never have an opportunity to see. We sail daily from April until October so we always know where we are likely to see the most interesting birds and with 25 years of experience running these tours we know where we are likely to have the best trip. Our route varies daily depending on conditions.

Nice place to walk around and shop. They have a variety of little stores to check out and restaurants.

Cape May is famous for three things. Exit 0. Victorian homes. And the Washington Street Mall. I personally think the word mall has a negative effect on this location because it is more like a walkable downtown. The best part about this downtown is that Cape May has a rather strict no chain policy. With the exceptions of gas stations, grocery stores, pharmacies and banks, everything in this town is local, Washington Street being no exception. This area of Cape May is walkable from almost anywhere in town. One of the best streets in NJ.

Plenty of shops and restaurants gets very crowded. Great place to sit and people watch with a Ben and Jerrys ice cream

We took the ferry from Lewis and finally went to Cape May . We had our small dog with us, and have no problems with her anywhere. We were surprised to see the Mall, while a walking outdoor area, is a no dog zone! Hubs took her back to the car while I zoomed through the mall. Only went into one shop,, they all seemed to have the same stuff we found at the beach shoppes and elsewhere. If you are like us, you may need to skip this area. Our walk around town was nice however.

Great stop off, well worth a ride to check it out even if your not staying in cape may. I am very sure you will find something to interest everyone. They have a ton of different stores. Its smithville only larger. Loads of different stores and places to eat. I do not suggest you go when its hot out because then its stifling without so much as a breeze and with the beach being only blocks away. Driving in you can see all the beautiful homes. Its really a nice trip to make I would highly recommend now as far as the stores be prepared they are pricey but then again I am sure that the rent here is expensive. I am thinking maybe a trip during the xmas holiday is needed.
