Much different than I'm used to

I'm not an expert golfer, just an occasional player, purely for fun. This is the first time I've ever played at the shore. The course is interesting and scenic, but I had... read more

Our party met a rude obnoxious club employee who berated us on our play. The day we played was a grey overcast rainy day with very few golfers and this cigar smoking cramugin came at us on the 12th hole to play faster. He soured our day. The course was empty with no one in front or behind us. We... More

I'm not an expert golfer, just an occasional player, purely for fun. This is the first time I've ever played at the shore. The course is interesting and scenic, but I had trouble with the fairways -- the grass seems EXTREMELY short on the fairways. To me, it seemed like the fairways were mowed more like a green than a... Haven't played a few days after Labor Day, and after the hurricane, the golf course is rather beat up. An extraordinarily hot season has left the fairways struggling to grow, if you burn spots, and all in all a golf course that looks a little bit worse for the wear. This semi private golf course has 18 holes, pretty tight... More

2nd group off at 6:23 am, had to douse ourselves in bug spray to avoid being eaten alive. Course was in good shape, greens were a little slow but in perfect condition for the most part.. Weather was brutal 90 degrees by 7:30am, the only real big negative was no cart girl, and the water in the coolers was stale... More

This is a interesting and different course, set on/around a nature reserve it is nicknamed the Natural. Place is beautiful it can be packed in the summer because of all the shore travelers, but its still an excellent course. Always seems to be in great shape, maybe because it has natural water throughout. It can be a bit of a... More

I have played several times and always seem to have a problem with tee times. Either the on line booking is not recognized or a tournament was scheduled and not blocked out. Staff in the clubhouse can be difficult to work with. Course has a nice layout but conditions could be better. Needs some tender loving care.

Played today in 4 hours and 40 minutes. Course is in good shape, can score well if you play smart. The layout is fun to play, with a mix of short par 4's and a few longer ones. Only cons, pace of play at times and the par 3's are not very challenging from the whites. Overall it is a... More

The check in crew friendly. Tee times too close together. Waited all most every shot. Group behind rude and hit in to us. Ranger was rude to the max. He failed the course on how to talk to people who pay the way to high green fees to play on the so so course. Because of the ranger, will never... More

Very pretty course that is playable at all levels of golf, but very difficult when the wind is up on Cape May! My wife was pleased that women's tees (and seniors) play much shorter than men's.

The pictures were taken in August 2014. We have made great improvements which provide fantastic playing conditions.
