Bain's Deli
Aug 2021
While visiting the Aquarium take time to dine a Bain's deli right outside the entrance. Fantastic food at a great price.. We would highly recommend this place. Say Hi to Eddie A real sweetheart. Makes you feel like a friend on your first visit.

Adventure Aquarium not to be missed if you are in Philadelphia area
Aug 2021 • Family
We used Citypass from Philadelphia and drove over to Camden. Easy parking, friendly staff, well thought out, and because you make reservations, was not super crowded. If you are using Citypass, you just check in and you get in right away. You don't have to make a separate reservation, just show the QR codes. The highlight was seeing the hippos, Jenny and Buttons, they were so friendly and a must is to be there when they are being fed. But essentially petting and feeding g the stingrays was a close for the kids! I'm from Monterey area aquarium and I would rate this aquarium on par with Monterey!

I loved that the biologists were part of the exhibits and were super about explaining in details information about the animal life at the Aquarium.

For young children.

it's geared towards young children with lots of noisy touch exhibits. Huge waste of empty spaces and of course an over priced food court. So if you are expecting to see amazing aquariums in a nice tranquil area it's not for you. It's expensive and short! As a fish keeper & enthusiast exhibits were subpar considering the cost.

my friend and I who are seniors went thru the whole 'adventure" in 1/2 hour! Lines were so long. Total waste of money. The aquarium in riverhead ny is much less expensive, much better layout and no lines because the exhibits are spaced out. I requested a partial refund and never heard back from any representative/

Cute aquarium

I took my 3 year old son and he loved it. It took us about 3 hours to go through on a Wednesday. We got there when it opened. The shark bridge was my favorite. You can feed the stingrays which I thought was very cool. There were a few touch animal tables.

Good choice for young kids

Nice afternoon spent here. If you are Covid worry, I would skip this activity as masks are NOT enforced. They seemed to be packed, so not sure why you had time tickets? The layout is very well. We just felt this was geared towards kids and not really teenagers. We saw the entire place in an hour - so really not worth the money for us.

Fun place with learning as an added bonus!

My husband and I took our 11-year-old grandson to this aquarium and we thoroughly enjoyed it! My grandson was especially thrilled at seeing an axlototl, which is in his Mindcraft game. He also enjoy the shark walk and petting the stingrays. The layout is good, allowing a lot of people without feeling cramped. The turtles, penguins and fish tunnel was also a big hit. We enjoyed ourselves. I recommend Adventure aquarium for any age person!

First time visiting as a family, booked online tickets in advance accordingly. Upon entry, we asked staff about mask policy and were told unvaccinated and children under 12 required, however nobody wore masks or enforced them either, so if covid is still a concern for you, I would avoid. Aside from the unmasked crowds, the overall aquarium experience was good. There was enough exhibits spread out to keep my kids interested for about 2-3 hrs. The hammerhead shark, hippos and octopus were among the top favorites for us. The shark tunnel and bridge were also unique to this aquarium and made it worth the trip
