This aquarium really has its act together!! The place is designed very well which makes it easy to get around and easy to keep track of exhibits you have already visited. The variety of marine life was very impressive and very diverse. Who would have thought there would be hippos at an aquarium! Large display of sharks and the shark... More

This is a really nice Aquarium it was a little crowded but the place was great I went with my 4 and 5 year olds and they loved it. By far better then the Boston Aquarium it doesn't even compare. The sharks swimming everywhere was awesome.

Though pricey, as most aquariums seem to be, the Adventure Aquarium has a lot to see. The hippos were a highlight, along with the largest tank with the viewing seats. Sitting and watching everything swim by was very relaxing and I could have stayed there all day. The walk above the sharks was also something fun and different to experience.

This has to be one of the best Aquariums I have ever been to. I'm a teacher and I have been to many aquariums and museums. This place was awesome! Many opportunities for young children to learn And explore. I would love to go back if it wasn't so far away. This is a must do if you are in... More

The building is on dry land, but the life is under the sea - in big glass containers; some of which you can reach in and touch them with two fingers! There's sharks, rays, penguins, hippos, eels, turtles, and almost anything else aquatic you can imagine. If you're looking to stay somewhere for a couple of hours, as opposed to... More

Stopped here on vacation with our 8 year old who wanted to see real live hippos. I was a little worried it would not be worth the price upon seeing the map. This places was small, but packed full of entertainment. Our 8 year old wants to go back again if it wasn't so far we would. He loved all... More

Nice place to visit for 2-3 hours. I highly recommend going later in the afternoon. The crowds seemed to leave between 3 and 4. We also enjoyed watching the hippos being fed and "put to bed" right before closing.

My 1 year old grandson loves this place. This was such a cool place. When you walk up to the building its right on the water so you can sit outside and look across the river at the boats and things. Inside the aquarium is really clean and easy to move around in. The big screen viewing area of the... More

If you are in the area you should definitely check this place out!!! So beautiful and so much to do. The kids as well as us had a blast. They do a really great job here. Plan about 3-4 hours. The other awesome feature is that it's right on the water across the river from philly. Beautiful.

I and my sister-in-law took my four grandchildren to the Adventure Aquarium. This was the first time we went into the hippo area when we arrived. They were eating their hay; we continued into the Shark exhibit because the Hippos were going to be fed again at 10:30. DO NOT MISS this event; they were dancing in the water; jumping... More
