This is a definite must see when visiting Philadelphia! We loved the penguins and the knowledgeable staff to answer questions about them. Being able to walk right over the shark tank was very cool!

I love this aquarium. Have taken my granddaughters here numerous times. The new shark bridge is really fun as well as watching the feeding of the hippos. Only complaint is the price but was able to get a discount on the internet. My advice is...More

It’s been a while since I was last at the aquarium - it was the NJ State Aquarium back then - and it feels more commercially focused than it was then. There are still some impressive areas - the shark tunnel and massive tanks are...More

Really disappointed with the mermaids. Timed tickets were given out upon arrival. There was only one area to view the mermaid underwater. There were several spots that the aquarium could have used to make multiple viewing locations but they used a bubble wall to block...More

We had a wonderful day here today. Sharks and sea turtles were out. Later in the afternoon, there were plenty of people visiting. Glad we started a bit earlier. Had plenty of fun and enjoyed the exhibits again. We try to visit at least once...More

Bought discounted tickets on Groupon and saved a bunch. Thankfully avoided the crowds this time. Can be very crowded with field trips depending on the day.

I am truly an aquarium lover. I have been to many around the United States and though this one is in a beautiful structure, and the outside promenade has a great view looking out on Philadelphia, the aquarium is below any minimal standards I might...More

Had a business meeting catered for about 100 people. Continental breakfast and buffet lunch. Food quite good, vegetables done in a creative way. Strawberries in season quite good. And who doesn't like sharks an the background?

If it was just a promotion to get grandparents involved you might be ok but call and explain your situation and I would recommend talking to the general managers and get a name.

Sorry I'm late getting back to you. I guess you found out that hey are open on Sunday and you can but tickets at the door. I don't know if the one-year-old needed a ticket. I hope your family had fun!

You child is free, I purchased my ticket online. I would do the same to avoid the lines or if they are sold out, this way you are guaranteed entry.
