Third State is a cute craft brew spot. The owners are great! We enjoyed several savory beers as we played vinyl records reminiscent of our college days! I suggest getting flights as there are so many beers to choose from.
Burlington Running Club meets at Third State every Thursday. I know a few people that belong, unfortunately I don't live close enough to join them. But I do live close enough to go "tasting" every now and then.

My family and I went here with a crowd of friends. We took the tour, given by Bill the brew master. It was very interesting. We tasted 4 different beers. They were all very good. I found one I really liked and ordered a full size glass. The place is very attractive and clean. The owners and staff are very friendly. We were able to bring in a pretzel tray and order pizza from the place across the street. They do not serve food there. There is outside seating which was very pleasant. Had a great time and definitely will return.

My husband is a serious beer geek and hasn't found one here he doesn't like. Enjoy a Beer with a pizza from Francesca's right across the street. A great place to hang out with your friends.

Third State brews a variety of excellent beers with a friendly staff. You can order food delivery from some local restaurants and enjoy a lovely dinner.

Went to check out this brewery. I always see a lot of people there and was intrested in checking it out. Very nice staff inside and clean inviting atmosphere. Had a few flights and enjoyed the beers. The couple we we with were equally impressed. Deffinalty will go again

We have been going to Third State since they opened 3 years ago. The owners are great people and the beer is out of this world. Every beer is made with love. They brew a wide variety and each is full of flavor.
You will come in and have great beer and leave with new friends. If you haven’t been you need to get there as soon as possible. You can bring your own food and snacks because Third State is all about the BEER.

Very educational tour by Bill who answered our many questions and made us very thirsty to try a flight. We enjoyed each of the four 4oz pours, in particular the pour visibility and bourbon stout. They don't serve food but we saw the place next door deliver a few times while we were there, and the pizza place across the street made our Stromboli while we took the tour. A great way to end our day in Burlington. Thursday's the running club meets there so the place was really crowded but fun. Still plenty of seating and not too loud. The crowd really knew the beers so it was easier to select our choices. Hope to be back soon!

The place is really great: attractive, inviting, comfortable. (clean restrooms!) The Ale I had was great. They have outdoor seating. There are places nearby that will deliver food (until the law changes and allows breweries to sell food). The bar staff are very friendly. Sometimes that have music, (blues, maybe other genres too).
