They do a good job of explaining their work in helping the stranded mammals. They show video cams of the mammals in care and of releases. I commend their work!

After reviewing the website we were excited to visit. Unfortunately you can not enter. They did have a museum which had a couple of fish but not something to add as a day's event. The staff was extra friendly but too bad there was really...More

Visited this center for the first time this past weekend. I wasn’t aware of its existence prior to researching “things to do” in the Brigantine area. What a tremendous job the founders & volunteers are doing to help our sea life mammals have a long...More

If at all possible, attend a release. Their goal is to rehabilitate & release. Wonderful learning experience for kids! This place was started by one man & his wife about 35 years ago, most of the helpers are volunteers or interns, their dedication is admirable.

Wanted to take girlfriend there a week ago. Also adopt a seal with her. Sort of a gift to her. After I receive an email stating that they won't accept visitors daily until the following week, so since not much in area was going on...More

It’s not a huge place and it’s not an aquarium where you will spend an entire day. It’s a really cool little place that rescues animals. It’s obvious from the moment you walk in that the staff love their job and the animals they care...More

This is an outstanding organization who does great work saving the seals and other marine life. It is great for the kids to be able to see and learn about the seals. This is not an aquarium, however, so don't expect that kind of experience.

My wife and I visited the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine, NJ in mid-May on a chilly blustery day. It is little, only one small room that is part museum and part gift shop, but it has a huge heart. The Center rescues, rehabillitates...More

Off season visit didn't have too much to see but what they did provide was interesting, mostly for kids. Having been to several large marine facilities in the past and other "stranding" sites we weren't overly impressed. Good turtle place.
