The best thing about Cross Estate Gardens is the smell, the aroma, the awesome atmosphere of pure flower power. So before you go, take a shower and wash off all that perfume and musk you normally wear to let people know where you've been, and...More

Like your own Sectet Garden. Hardly ever run into another person when visiting. They've greatly improved the Gardens over the last decade. You can also access Parltriots path and The National Park hiking from the parking lot. Shhh…Keep it secret…

There is an interesting old water tower and a formal garden. There were loads of flowers bloomin as well as an abundance of butterflies and bumble bees. It was a nice place to walk through.

Very peaceful any time of the year. Easy trails and lovely little gardens. Pleasant breezes being near the top of the hill. Going down to the stream is a nice walk in the countryside.

Take a walk though the gardens at any time of year for a unique visual treat. Foliage changes with the seasons, since NJ has Spring, Summer, WInter and Fall.

Visited the Cross Estate Gardens while staying in Bernardsville, was the highlight of the trip. Gardens are well kept and provide good photo opportunities. We really enjoyed walking the grounds. A recommend if you are in the area.

This was a very pretty little garden with a great variety of trees and flowers in all different colors. The water tower was really cool to look at and read about. The entire visit lasted about 90 minutes for us. Lots of nice photo opportunities.

We visited this beautiful English Country-type Garden with a few friends, and found it to be soothing and relaxing. Everywhere we looked, we found well maintained pathways bordered by colorful blooms, woodland ephemerals, and ornamental grasses. In addition, there are healthy ferns, flowering shrubs, creepers,...More
