Summertime Surf School is the best! My 11-year-old daughter just had 2 private lessons at the Asbury Park location. The coaches and staff there were very friendly and helpful. The coaches were very experienced. They were good at teaching kids. The lessons were very efficient. My daughter has never surfed before, she stood up at her 2nd try and she successfully rode several tides in her first lesson! The coaches were considerate, they took good care of kids. The online booking process was straightforward. The location is great, convenient to access, fine sand, nice beach and waives. There is a free public parking lot nearby. We were very happy with the private lessons. My daughter will definitely take more lessons with them next summer.…

My 9 year old was part of the afternoon surf camp at Asbury Park. We were super happy with his experience, the instructors were well organized and even on day one felt safe under their care as they paddled out. It was amazing to watch my son by day two catch waves. I highly recommend Summertime Surf and the experience my son had will be talked about for years. Looking forward to booking again next summer!…

Amazing surf school - they managed to safely have camp and lessons all throughout COVID. All the instructors are great for help people of all ages and skill levels!

We had an incredible first time surfing experience with this group in Pt. Pleasant!! My 10 and 12 year old boys loved every minute of it and as parents we were extremely pleased with the professionalism and ATTENTION the instructors had with all the kids the entire week! We had a few day’s of rough waters and as a parent we were thrilled to see how safely they managed the kids and the lessons. We will certainly look into doing this surf camp again next summer!! Booked a surfing camp in Bradly Beach location. This is the worse class ever. In the day that people are not allowed to go to water, kids were practically thrown to water unsupervised. After that day my son did not want to go to the water at all, forget about surfing. This is the worse experience for beginners, for kids who don’t know much about ocean. And administrator is not empathetic, but she said that she is sorry. So out of 5 days, we used just one. There was no refunds, no store credits, not even a desire to motivate, encourage the kid. So really good place to test if you are a “good parent”. If you don’t push your kid-you are weak, but if do push your kid then you are strong and important. Just then have to be ready for psychology sessions and water phobia. This place should not conduct business this way! Especially that they did not do any assessments, like the kids ability to swim or deal with big waves. Shame.…
