I hesitate to talk about LBI, because I don't want it to become a crazy busy place but with over 100 restaurants and many there for years, the people are already their to support their success. LBI I would say has two parts, the north...More

Salt air in the lungs and a trip over the causeway bridge and you have arrived on LBI. Sand, ocean, bay, and sun are the key ingredients for "the shore". So much to do and so little time. Come visit and enjoy.

Hi. We are going to Surf City for a family reunion the first weekend in November. We already have a house rented, but I was wondering if there are any restaurants/bars, etc that stay open on the island all year?

Not too many are open all year. The island becomes a ghost town after Halloween.

The Leeward Room at the Engleside Inn is very nice. Also very convenient if you are staying at the Engleside Inn. Just have to walk to the restaurant.
