You must go to the top for a magnificent view of LBI and the inlet! even on a hot day (down below) we were treated to a refreshing ocean breeze up top. Visit the center for a cold bottle of water for $1. Where else on earth can you get such a fantastic experience for $4?

Bring your camera! This park manages to perfectly capture the beauty of the Jersey shore. The Lighthouse makes for great art, and the rock jetty provides for an "adventure". Kids have always loved exploring the overflow basin for washed up "treasure". Trails complete the trip.

Frankly, not worth the lines. I guess seeing the light house is OK. Kind of a ride for it. The lines to get in were ridiculous, got there at about 10 didn't expect a line that long. Went there many years ago and there were no lines at about the same time. We waited for a little while and left

Had to take our grandchildren there for them to climb to the top of the lighthouse. They were amazed. Enjoy the walk out to the end of the inlet to view the Atlantic ocean. One of the roughest inlets on the Jersey coast. IMO Bring your camera for fantastic photos from the top of the lighthouse and along the inlet.... More

Pretty place to visit and see the light house. Enjoyed watch the boats and the fisherman. You can go inside the lighthouse for a small fee.

Enjoyed our first visit here. We walked along the stone path on the beach and enjoyed a short early on the beach. The lighthouse is beautiful! Next trip we will make sure to climb up to enjoy the view. The boys loved it, very family friendly.

We visited with my girlfriend and her father after a day on the beach. What a gorgeous lighthouse and state park! There is a concrete walkway along the shoreline which is great for walking / biking / and fishing. The park also has many nature trails inside the dunes that we chose not to partake in. The park has a... More

Growing up quite close, it was a must to visit the lighthouse when I brought our family to LBI recently. The landmark hasn't changed much over the years, although the 'park' around it has expanded as the beach has reached further into the Atlantic. For history, views and a good workout climbing to the top, a stop and climb is... More
