Got there about 6:30 pm to take advantage of the sun being lower in the sky. (better shadows) The shops did not impress any of us (10 people) but the new coffee and ice cream shop was a hit with my wife. She loves her coffee and good ice coffee made her day. They cold brew it after removing any... More

Viking Village is a cute little spot in the Barnegat Light area of Long Beach Island. Here you can find coffee, a market and shops, along with fresh seafood caught daily by the fishing vessels. It is a great spot to come to for souvenirs and shopping. There are restrooms on site and plenty of parking.

The stores are pretty dilapidated, but there's something for just about everybody. Farm market at the end is worth a stop for produce or flowers. Fishery ops behind it are interesting too. Grad a coffee or ice cream across the street before heading out.

We stopped here last year by accident and there was a cooking demo going on. The scallops just came off the boats and a chef was giving tips on their preparation and we all sampled them. We now go there for fresh scallops, not inexpensive but fresher then fresh. It is a working fishing village with a few shops, a... More

Interesting collection of shops which are generally aimed at tourists thought the heavy presence of fishing boats lends a very interesting atmosphere.

Nice little shops near our motel. We enjoyed a little stroll and fresh cup of coffee. Never even knew these shops were here.

Visited after Labor Day. There were a few shops that were open. Not too interesting, however, may be more active in the summer. How ya Brewin was a good place to have a coffee or sit on the porch with an ice cream
