Dave and his son Nick were the perfect pair for a fun day of fishing. Incredibly knowledgible about places to go and fish to catch. Made everyone feel comfortable, no matter what their experience level was. Was with a group of guys but they would be perfect for fishing with kids. I felt like I learned more about fishing and different types of fish in 6 hours with them than I have in my entire life. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Chartered the Hi Flier with 4 other friends with Captain Dave and his son as first mate and had the best chartered fishing experience I've ever had. I probably had more fun picking both of their brains on fishing and techniques and hearing about their experiences than the actual fishing, which itself was a lot of fun and highly productive. Captain Dave and Nick always had us on at least two or three different tackle and bait while in the bay. We caught enough Weak Fish and Blowfish for a nice dinner as well as species we weren't allowed to keep but were fun to haul in (and release) with light tackle like Dogfish, Fluke, and Hickory Chad. No Bluefish in the open water, but nobody around us was catching them either. Captain Dave was frequently in contact with other professional angler friends. He has quite a network and he and his son are as solid and enjoyable people as they are knowledgeable and experienced. Can't wait to get on their email distribution list for deep sea opportunities!

Had a lads fishing trip with Captain Save and his son (Nick). The combo of Dave’s angling and skippering experience and Nicks marine knowledge, based on a background in marine biology, made the perfect combo. While the wind was gusting upwards of 20 knots, they were able to find us calmer water and catch 7 varieties of fish. Perfect day on light tackle that ensured we had a solid seafood dinner that night. We will definitely be getting our kids along for our next visit. Quality Dad and son team for sure

We headed about 70 miles off shore to target Yellow Fin Tuna, with Captain Dave, and Nick as his mate. When no one else was reeling in any fish on the chunk or jig, Dave switched to trolling and we landed our 1st 70 Lb Tuna shortly afterwards. We then found some debris and reeled in about 14 Mahi Mahi on light tackle - fun and also delicious. We saw whales breach and spout, pods of dolphin frolic past us, and rays swimming everywhere. Could not have been a nicer day on the water. We landed our second 70 Lb Tuna in the afternoon before heading back. Great time, great Captain and Mate - worked hard, and found the fish.

Headed out with my father and 2 kids (12 and 10 y/o). Capt Dave was great and patience with the kids and made sure we caught some fish!!! Couldn’t ask for more!
