Walk, bend, crawl, and belly slide through the many granite block formations and enjoy some small cave experiences. Plan to do plenty of walking and climbing. Obviously you can pick and choose which caves you enter - but while you're there, try them all. The...More

I was somewhat skeptical bringing a family of five here given the cost, figuring that we would be in and out in about 45 minutes. However, this place turned out to be the highlight of our White Mountains trip. Clean and well maintained, the boardwalk...More

If you have children who like caves, they will love this place. We took our 7 and 9 year old grandchildren and they enjoyed each cave many times. It only took them about an hour even though they went through each cave three times. It's...More

My 4 kids (11,9,7, and 6) absolutely love this place. You walk down and up a bunch of steep staircases along a breathtaking river gorge, and along the way they have breathtaking boulder caves to explore. My kids said it was better than Disney. The...More

The Lost Valley Gorge was recommended by the NH Visitor Information Center on I-93 when we crossed over from Vermont on a 2-week RV tour of New England. It wasn't even mentioned in our Rough Guide book we had been using to choose activities! We...More

This attraction is definitely geared towards kids. It is a walk through a gorge on wooden trails so it's not too difficult of a hike, and it has all kinds of caves that you can squeeze through if you're skinny enough. We went into a...More

This was my first visit to Lost River since childhood and it didn't disappoint. The Lemon Squeezer is still a no-go, but the rest of the caves were fun to crawl/climb through. It took about an hour and a half. I also enjoyed some of...More

I have been here many times. Tried the lantern tour, was disappointed with that. But that is just my opinion since I don't like being with such a big crowd, would rather move at my own pace

We spent about 2 1/2 hours here and loved it. Steps are easy to climb and safe. Caves are fun. You can bypass each cave if you don't want to venture in.
