We love seeing films here -- they have a great selection of foreign and classic films and not the typical Cinemagic run-of-the-mill stuff. It's a beautiful little theater. My only complaint is that the seats are a bit uncomfortable.

OK- my house is right up the street from here, but I haven't lived there in over a dozen years. Still, when I get back to Wilton, one of my favorite destinations is the Town Hall Theatre. First run and offbeat foreign/funky films. A large...More

I love going to the Town Hall Theater. It is very old and nostalgic. Very small and the screen is behind curtains. The price is also as it was many years ago. You can actually see a first run movie and get a drink and...More

Very old fashioned movies theatre. Two screens, cheap popcorn, $2 bills in the change. Comfortable with lots of dark wood.

You don't even need to know what's playing--if it's at Town Hall, it's worth your time. From old silent films (sometimes with live music) through classics (The Grapes of Wrath or the annual showing of It's A Wonderful Life) to documentaries, premieres, and current hits,...More

Whenever I go to the Town Hall Theatre I am reminded of Peter Bogdonovich's "Last Picture Show". No, we are not in Texas, but are at a place out of time. And that is the best part of a show at the Town Hall. Just...More

Great popcorn and drinks that won't break the bank. Check out the downtown if you come early enough. Check out Nelson's Candy.

The Wilton Town Hall Theater dates back to the days of vaudeville and silent film. In fact they still regularly showcase the best of the silent era. Basically it is a City Arts Cinema programming in the scenic hills of NH. The programmer rips your...More
