There are some beautiful views by the water and some benches to relax and watch the boats go by. Nice place to visit.

We loved spending an afternoon at Weirs Beach in September of this year. No one but us was there to enjoy the tranquil afternoon sun. The water was warm still, and the breezes were blowing. It was heaven!

We went specifically to take a cruise on the Sophie C, the only active floating post office in the US. The cruise was fun and informative. You can also buy postcards and stamps and actually mail them on board the boat. The information provided during the cruise, as well as the stops at the various islands, was well worth the... More

Weirs Beach is good for about an hour and a half plus time for lunch unless you plan to sail on the M.S. Mount Washington or take a ride on the train...both good options. There's a Boardwalk, some budget T-shirt shops, good local fudge, and an arcade that reminded me of the old-time ones at Hampton Beach. There are several... More

Lots of typical boardwalk shops and activities. The water park that was torn down never got replaced with anything and the buildings and stores need a facelift. Enough to do for a few hours at night. The beach and access area is actually nice, but can be very crowded

We spent a lovely afternoon on Labor Day weekend strolling along the clean, beautiful Boardwalk and stopping by a few of the stores on the other side of the street. The view of Lake Winnipesaukee is fantastic and the beach looked very inviting. It closed at 4.30 pm that day due to holiday fireworks. There were several arcades, which we... More

It's pretty run down, but there was enough stuff to do to keep my husband and I entertained with out having to drive out of the area for the afternoon and full day that we were here. The beach itself is pretty dirty, saw a syringe. Restaurants are unimpressive in Weir's beach (for the most part). Found one that I... More

We stayed at Village of Winnepausakee last week August 28-31 . We were around the block from Weirs Beach. It was a ghost town, most restaurants were closed as was the beach due to low water levels and high ecoli bacteria . I was shocked that we were not told this at check in and even when I asked if...
