We had a guided tour which was excellent

We toured the museum with a guide. He met us upon our arrival. Without one it would have been a quick walk through experience. However, we were given such individualized tour that we could have spent several hours learning about the displays.

I don’t know how we lucked out to get a guide. Perhaps it was perfect timing? Other people simply seemed to walk slowly through looking at the displays with out explanations. Those people walked through rather quickly. I felt sorry they didn’t get the wonderful experience that we received.

Great fund. Jan gave us a private tour. Who knew that turtle shells carried the magic code of the moon and sun. and that ancient corn had a husk on every kernel. And that native Americans used moose hair and porcupine quills to make AMAZING artifacts.

Went here as a couple. My GF wanted nothing more than to see this museum. It was closed on the two days she was here. I thought I would show her the outside of it at least and maybe the gift shop was open. Well they had a school trip going on there. I went inside and the staff said come on in, we'll get you in. Well we both enjoyed it. Great Exhibits and super informative. Will be back....this is a gem.

Some artifacts were interesting to see, but overall it was unimpressive. Staff was friendly and the gift shop was interesting.

A totally unexpected treasure after a pit-stop in Warner. Superb, compact museum with beautiful displays, exhibits and information about Indian tribes across the nation. Well worth $9 entrance. Also includes natural history and herbal garden exhibits and walking path.

Wonderful museum

As an elementary teacher who taught about Native Americans throughout North America I had always hoped to visit with my class to enhance the learning experience for them. Unfortunately the others on my team thought it was too far to go. Boy did we miss out on a great opportunity! It’s a little out of the way but we’ll worth the trip. They have a vast collection of artifacts which depicts the differences as well as the similarities among the tribes. Very knowledgeable staff. I went with a retirement group and we all enjoyed it.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We are now offering outreach programs where one of our educators will come to your classroom with artifacts and information, as we understand that travel logistics can sometimes be a challenge. We are glad you came for a visit, and hope you will stop in again next time you are in the area!

This was a fairly small museum but had an amazing collection of native American items. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and interesting.

She explained all the different aspects of their way of life, and in great detail keeping us interested all the way round. I was amazed how much I discovered and what native Americans were able to do with whatever was at hand.

Really interesting and I would recommend a visit with a guided tour, you just wont get as much out of it if you dont, plus its at no extra cost.

We had a guided tour by Georgia And which explained all of the artefacts and how they varied across the USA regions. Easy to understand explanations of the use of nature and it's creations to enhance living. Making pots, clothing, knives ,tools etc.An enthralling two hours by an enthusiastic guide.
