Went with a group of 22 on the Harbor Cruise. We all had a great time, although it was chilly. The cruise takes about 1 1/2 hours and is filled with history and beautiful views. Definitely worth doing while in Portsmouth. A different way to see the town and surrounding area.

We've taken clients on the Heritage for a Portsmouth Harbor Cruise a number of times over the years. Not only does it provide gorgeous views of Portsmouth and the surrounding area, but they provide a great history of the area and the local sites. Plus, they have a full bar and super friendly help.

The cruise takes about an hour and a half and worth every second you were aboard. The crew was very knowledgeable about the area and gave interesting facts about the history of the harbor. We saw seals and many birds and enjoyed this small boat with about forty visitors. Snacks and beverages were available for purchase

This was a great tour and very scenic. It is a great way to see the coastline of New Hampshire. They serve food and drinks during the cruise. Able to see a lighthouse and other scenic beaches along the New England coast.

My husband was born and raised in Portsmouth, England and did his apprenticeship in the dockyard so had always wanted to see the 'other Portsmouth'! We enjoyed the harbour cruise but he was disappointed that it didn't go down to the naval base!

The Harbor Cruise was great! In addition to getting the opportunity to see Portsmouth from the water, the cruise offers a great history of one of the oldest cities on the East coast.

We were in town for a 2 day mini vacation and deiced on taking a harbor cruise one afternoon. It was great. A smaller boat with only about 30 people. The Captain was great with all of his narrations of the local coast line and the history dating back to the early colonial times. A must do if you are... More

We recently enjoyed our first experience on one or the cruises offered by Portsmouth Harbor Cruises. We chose the Inland River Cruise, which goes up the Cocheco River to Dover, NH. For two and a half hours we enjoyed beautiful scenery while the captain provided an ongoing narrative on the history of the area. It was a thoroughly entertaining and... More
