First time at Tenney in years. The staff is super nice, the food in the pub was great. To top it off, today's conditions were epic! We will be back.

This is a two level review. First the ski area. If you want to ski an area with narrow classic New England trails with lots of character, then Tenney Mountain is your place. The trails are interesting and are the opposite of those wide slops now being built. The snow making is limited so the cover could be thin. The second part of this review is about the Backwoods bar and grill. The mountains pub, Backwoods often has live music on Friday or Saturday nights. It is open to 10:00pm and is open year round. For a ski mountain bar; it is clean, the staff is appropriately attentive and the food is pretty darn good.

This is a great small mountain that offers all skill levels for skiers and snow boarders. Because of the small size, you can feel confident in leaving your children here alone for the day, or join them on the slopes. As an ex-Ambassador, I know first hand how great this ski slope is! It is a favorite of mine and guaranteed it will be a favorite of yours, too.

Tenney Mt, Backcountry Bar and Grill is always fun to visit. We have been here during ski season and in the summer. The food is always great and the service could not be any better! We are looking forward to our next visit!

Tennyson Mountain Ski Area was one of the earliest of the small town slopes going back to just after WW2 when one of the storied TENTH Mountain Divison veterans with a local surveyor decided Plymouth deserved a skiers mountain. Multiple owners over five decades have come and gone and the latest is Sir Michael! The lounge has that small area charm and energy. Excellent appetizers and great bar!
