We stopped in this cute place for ice cream. They have handmade chocolates too. Nothing was inexpensive. Then again, I don't know where ice cream and chocolates are cheap. They have a few places to sit inside or out. All in all an eclectic cute place with a very friendly staff.

So many lovely hand-made chocolates to choose from. The almond bark samples (dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate) were fabulous. I ended up with iced coffee with coffee ice cream--to my surprise it was a full glass of iced coffee with a huge scoop of ice cream that hung over the side. After scooping and sipping enough to carry... More

On a recent visit through this town we stopped in to purchase some local chocolates. This shop sells its own chocolate, ice cream and drinks. The chocolates are $30/lb so even $7.50 for a quarter pound seemed out of the budget. The ice cream flavors seemed appetizing and not as pricey but we were so put off by the chocolate... More

We visited twice on our stay in Peterborough. Ice cream and iced coffee were delicious both times! Very friendly service and portions were huge!

If you want a taste of heaven, visit Ava Marie's. Unbelievable hand made chocolates, just delicious. Make great gifts, or just a lovely indulgence.

Downtown Peterborough's ice cream and sweets shop!!! They do an amazing job and are famous for making their own chocolate. I love their ice cream and seasonal items. They have awesome outdoor seating that overlooks OUR beautiful TOWN!

I found the chocolate to be more bitter than normal milk and dark chocolate with an odd aftertaste that was not pleasant. Overpriced with a dark and cold atmosphere. I won't be visiting again

The chocolate here is good, but I find it a bit too sweet. However, there's a nice selection of varieties and other items. Cute atmosphere.

Always a favorite with the family, something for everyone. If you are old-school, you can still get an icecream soda here (but the seltzer is from a bottle, not a fountain). The sundaes are fabulous and the range of the ice cream flavors is amazing. The chocolates are Godiva quality, definitely worth the price. For me, the salted caramels are... More
