We went today as a group of six and really enjoyed the sleigh ride. The price is $15 a person and children under 4 are free. From the minute we got there our guide Jason answered questions from my kids and made as feel like friends. We had a great ride and really enjoyed how knowledgable Jason was about horses and the land we were on. After the ride we had hot cider, hot chocolate and then roasted marshmallows. It was a fun afternoon, thanks for the great time Jason!

This was a great activity for all ages. The sleigh goes through a beautiful field, along the Saco River, and stops at a campfire where the kids roasted marshmallows. Hot chocolate and hot apple cider were also available. Jason was fun and super nice. The horses were well taken care of. There was even a three week old foal who followed along with his mother. The price was definitely reasonable at $15/adult. Tipping is welcomed and was well deserved on our ride. We would definitely recommend this attraction!!

My 7yo daughter and I went on a sleigh ride today and it was beautiful!!! I highly suggest it!!!!! After the ride we roasted marshmallows and drank cocoa. The horses were beautiful and it was a very relaxing ride. The price is very reasonable at $15 per person for a group sleigh ride. We will definitely return!

Just got back from a wonderful trip at Fireside Sleigh Rides. My boyfriend and I booked a private sleigh ride while we were up skiing in North Conway. Its very easy to find and not too far away from the town. The owners were so great, our guide, Jason, has such a passion for what he does and knows a lot about horses and made the ride fun. The scenery is gorgeous, postcard New England winter scenes along the frozen river and the woods. The ride lasts about thirty minutes and they provide you with hot chocolate and a blanket. Afterwards, he takes a picture of you in the sleigh with the horses. The horses, Freckles and Prettyface, are well-taken care of and gorgeous. We were actually about twenty minutes late and we were their last ride of the day, but we called them in advance and they were so nice about it (and we very much appreciated that.) Definitely go here, they are a family business and they are clearly into it because they love what they do, do not miss this romantic experience if you are in the area!

Took my sister, my 8 year old niece, and my 8 month old daughter on the 4 o'clock sleigh ride earlier this week and it was perfect! We were welcomed with some pre-ride hot chocolate and hot cider (yum!) and then headed out to the big red sleigh for a wonderful ride! Heather was a warm and engaging hostess, it was very obvious that she enjoys her work and this made the experience all the more enjoyable. My niece was beyond thrilled when she got a short lesson on how to handle the reigns and the horses - which were a pair beautiful and well taken care of mamas-to-be! I would highly recommend taking a sleigh ride here, the price is very reasonable ($15 per person), the views along the trail are beautiful (take the sunset ride if you have the chance!!) and the campfire at the end with complimentary marshmallows can't be beat (just don't forget the chocolate and graham crackers for s'mores!)

What a magical experience! When we arrived, we were greeted by our host, Jason, who had prepared hot cider and hot chocolate for us, as well as a roaring fire to warm up by when we returned from our ride. We had booked a private sleigh ride; the sleigh was loaded up with warm blankets, and was drawn by two sweetheart horses, Freckles and Pretty Face. They brought us on a scenic ride through the woods. The ride was just the right length (although I admit I lost track of exactly how much time passed) and then we headed back to warm up by the fire.

This was the perfect sleigh ride experience that my mom and I were hoping for! All weekend I had wanted to do a sleigh ride but due to the warm weather most other places were not operating. Thankfully Jason and his beautiful horses Freckles and Pretty Face were ready to give a ride!
Heather warmly greeted us at the ticket counter in the cozy cabin and then offered us hot chocolate or hot cider to take outside before the ride departed. There was a roaring campfire going with marshmallows provided for roasting! Jason the driver was awesome and chatted with me about the horses and the sleigh's history.
Soon mom and I and some other new friends were on our way... Once we crossed a back road we spent the next 20 minutes passing through a beautiful meadow and then passed the Saco River. Wool blankets provided on the sleigh kept all of us warm.
At the end of the ride there was more time for cocoa and marshmallows at the fire as well as pictures with Freckles and Pretty Face.
Again this was the perfect New England sleigh ride experience and Jason and Heather could not have been nicer. Call them and make your sleigh ride reservation today - then get ready for some fun!

How long is the sleigh ride and how many can go in the sleigh?
Written November 6, 2019
Hi Lisa,
How did you get in contact with Fireside Sleigh Rides? I have called the number listed more than 20t times and I keep getting a busy signal. Do you know if dogs are allowed on the rides? I am in Boston and don't really want to take a chance tomorrow driving all the way up there.
Thank you
