    Great for learning to ski
We went before Christmas and I booked private ski lesson for my 12 year old son. Even though there was no real snow after all the rains, they made enough to offer skiing and snow tubing. It was my son's first time skiing but his instructor (Jenny) was fantastic and by the end of the lesson he made such a great progress that he kept skiing by himself for quite a while. He also did snow tubing and enjoyed it. Hope to come back this winter.

    Memories being made
This place was amazing. I want to give a review because this place is truly special. Fast moving lift lines, awesome trails and beautiful views. Staff were amazing, trails were true to color and parking was excellent. Will definitely be back. Didn't want to write the review because I don't want anyone else knowing about Cranmore. LOL

Our new favorite place in the White Mountains!
My family did an our summer vacation during the week of Independence Day in the White Mountains this year. We were originally planning to spend a day at Echo Lake, however it was so busy that we were unable to get parking reservations so we started googling for other things to do in the area. We stumbled across Cranmore Mountain Resort and it ironically became the highlight of our entire trip! So many wonderful activities for all ages, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a great value compared to other White Mountain attractions that don't offer a full day of things to do like Cranmore. This is now the first thing my family will do every time we return to the White Mountains and I'm even considering the overnight accommodations at Cranmore or the Fairfield for our next trip!

    Fantastic time and reasonable prices!
We had an amazing time! Highly recommend! Rides were thrilling and enjoyed from ages 18-81! Hardly any lengthly lines. Operators very friendly. Excellent safety measures! Only disappointment was the original zip line skimming tree tops no longer operational…we had all looked forward to that.Due

We booked the last hour tickets for $19 (It may be a special Covid schedule for this year) and one hour was just enough. All 3 kids got to go 3 times on the coaster, twice on the zip line and once on the swing. All 3 rides are amazing. A lot of fun but not too scary. Perfect balance. I would recommend this place for anyone going with children over the age of 6. Adults will enjoy it too.

My family went for a ride on the scenic chairlift. Nice views at the top and they have a lodge with an ice cream shop, some light food items, and some craft beer available.

We were incredibly impressed with their COVID precautions- lots of staff to direct customers, great signage, well marked one way in one way out paths for restrooms and other indoor locations, staff cleaning commonly touched surfaces, hand sanitizer at every turn, and mask reminders were plentiful. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time and only observed two sets of guests not observing posted rules (which wasn’t the resort’s fault).

After reading some rough reviews of tubing at pretty much all of the local mountains here, I was worried we would have a bad experience. We also were going during a holiday week (week after Christmas) and the area is extra crowded. Cranmore was closest to where we were staying and the kids really wanted to go tubing so I booked tickets for the 9:30-11:30 time slot the night before and hoped for the best. I did take advice from reviews to get there early since it gets busy. My kids like to sleep in (11, 8 and 2.5) so we arrived just at 9:30am and not earlier like I was aiming for. Checking in was a breeze, it was not crowded. The conveyer belt was working seamlessly and the staff were kind and helpful. I couldn’t go since I was pregnant and this was totally manageable for my husband to do with the 3 kids alone. My 2.5 year old rode on his lap. They were able to go down solo, holding tubes x2 and x3. It got more crowded as the time went on but the line was moving quick. Everyone had a blast! It was more on the pricey side, but I think it was worth the money to go to a place with a conveyer since we had a young one who couldn’t carry their own tube. All in all a fun 2 hours! We will be back to ski for sure!

We're glad you had such a fun time! Christmas break was a sold out week and we're glad you were able to get tickets. See you next time when you're on skis.

The average time from bottom to top to bottom was 15 minutes, which seemed long. While I have tubed at other locations, many do not include the matting at the end of the slope, which are meant to slow/stop tubers. The resorts safety protocols seem a bit excessive, given the matting. Tubers waited too long at the top of the hill for those down below to clear the area beyond the matting. The employees at the bottom should have been paying more attention and moving tubers along.

My 5yr old son had a private ski lesson with Quinn on Saturday feb 27th and I have to say that I was really disappointed with the service. The instructor showed zero interest in teaching him anything and was not involved or conversational at all. With 5 minutes left in the lesson another instructor was talking to Quinn saying how she was taking my niece for another ride down to which he replied ‘theres only 5 minutes left’. Really??? It’s not a good feeling seeing other toddlers getting treated correctly and your own not getting equal treatment, especially for 125 dollars a lesson. I at least expected the instructor to show a little interest or make an effort to communicate with him. He learned absolutely nothing which would have been fine if the instructor actually was professional or tried for that matter. I’m sure many people have great experiences there, maybe it was an off day. Nonetheless the service, enthusiasm and willingness to teach was incredible at Shawnee Peak! My son learned what I thought he would learn at cranmore . I would advise taking little ones to Shawnee if you want them to learn. I tried sending cranmore an email before coming to trip advisor last week about the experience, not looking for anything in return but to simply let them know I was disappointed but never even got an email back.

The Mountain Adventure Park was absolutely the biggest waste of money. There are 3 rides and the lines for these rides was 30-45 minutes. Each ride itself takes about 30-45 seconds. There is NO shade so you bake it the blazing sun. The $49 per person was absolutely a rip off especially considering you have 3.5 hour time frame and the wait times take up so much time. We were able to do 2 rides before the wait times and the heat from the direct sun made it impossible to do any more. Never again!

We're sorry to here that you were not able to make the best of your experience with us here at our Mountain Adventure Park. A $49 ticket this summer gives you access to 10 different attractions including the Scenic Chairlift to the top of The Mountain. We do provide shaded areas to take a break and the air conditioned Alpine Cafe and Bar. We hope next time you're able to make the most of your experience or even sample some of the ice cream at the top of the mountain to beat the heat!

Brought our boys on Feb 27, apparently they had been closed all week prior and things “froze up”... we were told on arrival that the magic carpet was down and should be up anytime... we walked up the hill about twice before our kids (4yo and 8yo) were exhausted and wanted to leave and we were exhausted as well (the tubes are not light). Those two walks up the mountain took about 40/120 minutes... at that point we asked when would be done they said should be soon. We sat and waited another 20minutes and still nothing, so we walked up the mountain one last time and we’re all exhausted and sweating and left. They never offered reimbursement and for the price you pay we should have been offered some deal off a further trip when the belt was actually working. Started our trip off on a terrible foot! I understand things happen but we should have been given an option for refund and return another day as we did not come prepared for that and with my asthma it was just too much!

I've been skiing here off and on for over 60 years. Yes, 60 years. Like all ski mountains it has changed with the times, having some good years and some bad years. Today we had probably our best ski day of the year (so far) here. The trails were beautifully groomed and there was no one there!! There is something for all levels of skiers here. The black diamonds are challenging, the blues are old fashioned woods trails, and the greens are wide open and fun. Actually all the trails are fun here. The mountain is small enough so you can let your tweens go off on their own and they won't get in (too much) trouble, but big enough to keep everyone happy. Stop at the Meister Hut on the top for cocoa!

Very dissatisfied with their customer service. We had bought tickets in advance for the scenic chairlift ride and got there and it was closed for maintenance. I never received a phone call/email about it and there was nothing on their website. The lady working at the desk was extremely rude about the entire thing. They finally refunded our money. I planned our entire day around the chairlift ride and had 3 very upset children. The lady didn’t even apologize.

We purchased tickets online for same day morning admission.
When we arrived, we were told the mountain coaster was broken and they wouldn’t refund our money. Our only options were to accept vouchers for another time (we live 3 hours away and most likely won’t be back) or accept a $10credit per ticket.
We accepted the $10 credit but the activities that were accessible we’re definitely NOT worth what we ended up paying. The ‘rides’ aren’t anything you wouldn’t find at a county fair- trampolines, bounce house, climbing wall. Chairlift to the top for $4 bottles of water.

We're sorry that your experience was not not up to your expectations during your visit with The Mountain Coaster being down for maintenance. Being one of our attractions that operates all 4 seasons it is not something that could have been anticipated. We're all about helping create positive experiences here at Cranmore and with 1 of our 10 rides or attractions being down for maintenance on the day of your visit we did our best by offering a $10.00 refund off of each ticket purchased. If not having The Mountain Coaster made it so that positive experience didn't seem likely for you vouchers were being offered that were valid for a calendar year so you can even plan on coming back next summer if that worked better for you. Whether it be this coming winter or even next summer we hope that we have another opportunity to serve you again under better circumstance and help you get back on The Mountain Coaster!
