- Courtney B19 contributionsBeautiful views, Easy hike inSoooo worth the stop! Absolutely breathtaking views. Depending on the time of year you go, plan to bring a swimsuit and towel because there are lots of spots to swim (though the water is very cold even in the summer). Parking can be tough so try to go either in the morning or evening. If you go during peak days/hours, plan extra time to wait for a spot.Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 6, 2023
- Jeffery DietschVan Wert, Ohio1 contributionVery beautifulThe walking is .6 miles and VERY EASY hiking. Be sure to bring your credit card for the parking fee. Also make sure you bring your cell phone or camera because the views are amazing.Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 29, 2023
- Alan C2 contributionsGreat time, easy paths. We found Diana's Baths great. I am a landscaper and was amazed at the condition of the trail. It had been thoroughly groomed with stone dust laid over the ground to the point there were no roots of rocks sticking up, indeed there were no leaves even though the woods on the sides were covered with leaves. It is an easy trail which we were looking for as my wife has been having knee trouble. Maybe 10 minute walk with fabulous scenery. - alex sBroward County, Florida73 contributionsMother nature at is bestWhat a find, you do have to hike/walk .6 of a mile but very easy all flats. Once here enjoy the view and sounds, water is cold and i was able to taste it. Kept climbing the boulders and couldve gone even higher had the sun didnt start going down.Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten November 1, 2023
- Kay DNuneaton, United Kingdom53 contributionsVery pretty waterfallAn easy walk from the car park. More challenging walking if want to explore the various levels and walk on the stones to see the various falls at closer range. Very pretty. Definitely worth a visit (along with Cathedral Ledge) if in the area. It is only a short drive from the North Conway Scenic Railway.Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten December 21, 2023
- RYC88Centreville, Virginia1,317 contributionsVery nice trail through the woods to the beautiful fallsThere seems to be plenty of parking and there's a kiosk to pay the visitors fee electronically. The trail is lovely and less than a mile with some hills, but it's fairly easy. The falls are so pretty and there are lots of places to get different perspectives.Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 20, 2024
- OnTheRoadAgain8180Gardiner, Maine407 contributionsBeautiful series of falls after a short enjoyable hikeI can appreciate the low ratings due to parking, as we went in April and it was very busy (not a full parking lot but close to it). If you can overcome the parking, this is a clear cut 5 stars. The 0.6 mile (one-way) hike is an easy one, and the falls are spectacular. To fully appreciate them you'll want to do some climbing to the top, but it's well worth it if you're able to do so. If you're unable to get a parking spot the first time, keep trying - it's worth it.Visited April 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten April 24, 2024
- Jessicalynn101711 contributionsDiana’s BathsBeautiful hike/walk through the NH woods to gorgeous falls that have a bit of history attached to them. They even say you can see fairy/sprites in the falling water. Definitely worth the walk. And if you don’t mind heights you can climb up the rock or around the rock to the top of the falls.Visited May 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten May 26, 2024
- JLB_ATL241 contributionsNeat place! We read reviews about the horrendous parking situation but got very lucky on a recent rainy Sunday. Not many people there at all, we had the trail to ourselves a few times during the hikes up and back. Beautiful hike through the woods. The water was brown however, likely due to all the recent rain.Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 25, 2024
- Diana WPinehurst, Texas128 contributionsNice little hike with pretty waterfallsBeautiful little area with waterfalls & clean cool water to sit & rest or even swim if you wish. The parking lot I heard gets packed & you cannot get in because it’s off a busy road so you can’t just park along the road. Either go extremely early in the morning or after about 4 pm & it will be less crowded. We went early in the morning. Was too cold to swim, but we walked to the falls for pretty pictures. There were actually guys there with survey equipment & they said they are trying to make another parking area. Not a long hike from the parking area to the falls. Very durableVisited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 29, 2024

We decided to include our first trip to Diana's Bath's with our annual leaf peeping jaunt to the White Mountains. Such a beautiful, peaceful, historical place hidden in the woods. Thankfully, a car gave up a parking spot as we pulled into the lot or we may have had to wait a few minutes. I bet the smallish parking lot helps control the number of sight seers at one time. Wear good, sturdy shoes for the walk in and out ~and for climbing on the incredible boulders that allow you to get right out in the falls. Just amazing! Lots of folks brought dogs and one irresponsible owner left behind a waste bag from their pooch. Really? There are no trash cans along the way so please be respectful by carrying out what you carried in. (this goes for empty water bottles too. C'mon people. This is nature at its finest and there is no room for littering.) I would suggest you use a restroom somewhere before you arrive at the Bath's. There are a few porta-potties on site but....And bring cash so that you can pay the entrance fee. Worth every penny!

We have been to Diana's Baths many times especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Before deciding to hike, we always make sure that the parking lot is not overcrowded. On our visit on Friday, March 12, 2021, we went around 3:30PM. Once on the travel we were passed by many groups (big 5-7 people) who were not wearing masks on the trail. This made our experience less than optimal. Trail granular slush + some ice.

So here I am in the white mountains in northern New Hampshire with friends . I use to cone to this area as a kid ( a long time ago ) well it was a very sunny hot day in the Mountains , So I gathered up my friends and ran over to Diana’s Bath a site of water falls numerous as the river goes up the mountain and you get to sunbathe or sit in the river or under a water fall . What a place ! Time has stood still here , the water is crystal clear and water falls numerous . We staked out a big bolder and set our towels down . We had packed a picnic 🧺 and spent the day in and out of the water . Just taking in nature and the beauty of it all .. enjoy this hidden gem - there is a hike to get to the falls about 1/4 mile . Enjoy when in N Conway NH 😎

This was an easy 0.6 mile walk to get to and SO worth the time. We were so glad we didn't miss this while in the area. It was absolutely amazing. We kept walking higher and higher and it seemed to just keep going. It was neat to be able to walk across on the large stones. The only drawback was that there was trash in some areas - dirty diaper, gum wrappers, old clothing, flip flops. Also there was a large tent pitched in the middle of the path in front of Diana's Baths with trash all around it. I can't believe something isn't done about that. It amazes me that people going on a nature hike wouldn't be more conscious of nature and would leave litter everywhere. But, overlooking that, I would still give it 5 stars because it was so beautiful. We arrived around 8am and were glad we did, because there were only 5 people there - within an hour or so, when we left, we probably passed 50 people on their way up and the parking lot was completely packed when we left. Don't miss it, but go early.

We tried to go as early as 10am and the line was 15 cars out of the parking lot. We then tried to go at 2pm and it was even longer. Go earlier like 9am if you want to get in without having to wait an early.

We hiked at Diana's Baths on a Tuesday morning. It's got a beautiful series of waterfalls, and it is near North Conway, and that leads to crowds. It's certainly not a quiet nature experience! It is very popular with families with small children, and dog owners. The trail is well maintained and is pretty easy hiking up to where the falls begin. The National Forest fee for parking is $4 per car, and that gets you into any other WMNF lot the rest of the day--we found that quite reasonable. But parking can also be crowded. As we were leaving, the lot was completely full, and someone was waiting behind us to take our spot. I suggest going early!

Reading info on what to do and saw Diana's Bath. We are 3 ladies who call our selves "The Gadabout Gals". We like hikes but those on the easier side. Well this was the place! It was simply beautiful. Wide path through a forest. Chipmunks running back & forth. Pine needles and acorns abounded along the path. When we got to the Baths we were actually shocked at it's beauty. You could walk along the rock foundations in between the various small falls and pools. You also could walk further along the path but the path became more difficult because of the roots in path. Beauty was all around you. Legend says nymphs and fairies love playing here. You know, I actually believe it! I would go during the week as we were told weekends very crowded.

If you can wait out an hour long line to get into the parking and then surprisingly come up with needed cash while you are already parked you are good to go.
After a short hike you are met with a playground of smooth rocks and waterfalls
Climb all the way up First if you are fit and make your way down. There is a hole 9 foot deep you can plunge in if your dimensions are S-M ! Ignore the crowds and wear water shoes as some areas are slippery. Even the plastic bottles and trash thrown weren’t making an impact on my impression considering i just visited luxury hotels with more trash on their loans. This was the cleanest service free area i have seen in Conway so far !

4 of us walked the path to the falls. One of us had a hip issue but was still able to get up to the falls. You can walk up the rocks once you get to the falls or go around on a path with a few ups and downs and roots. Only issue was the parking, it was really crowded, we waited about 30 minutes to park

Hi, can you please tell me how long the hike is to Diana's Baths?
Thanks!

Wanting to have a small (15 ppl) wedding here- is there some good spots with areas for a picnic style reception?
Written December 5, 2018
I would recommend Red Jacket resort for a possible alternative. Maybe Diana’s Baths for a part of the event not for the reception or picnic since it is a good hike in and out with plain earth paths and rock climbing at the end. Food would not travel well and there are only a few benches at the very end. Red Jacket has a nice combo of possibilities, look at their website for the range of family needs and your big event. Also very close to Diana’s Baths.

is it safe to bring (just turned) 3 year old here? is there a spot where a 3 year old could play in the water with close supervision?
Written August 27, 2018
Yes there were a few dogs there mostly little ones who were being carried

I’m not very adventurous at climbing but really want to take my family. Is it a challenge to walk the rocks here? I would have a 6 yr old also?
Written July 21, 2018
How easy/hard is the walk for a 3 year old and also for an adult (70) w/a problematic knee? Thank you.
Written June 25, 2018
The walk may be a bit much for a 3 year old but is not impossible. As far as the 70 year old it really depends on the condition of the 70 year old. If they are fit and athletic it should be no problem if they are a bit frail them it may be a bit much.
Written June 25, 2018
I’m not sure about accessibility in the winter as we visited in July. It takes 15 mins to walk into the baths - mostly all flat. The actual baths themselves can be climbed to as far as you want to go. We walked into them and explored them with a 7 yr old and a 5 yr old. No trouble at all - just take care whilst moving around the actual rock areas.
