For MWV Moose Bus Tours... Starting May 2017 is our 11th season providing a safe, informative, entertaining, and enjoyable night time MOOSE tour out of North Conway. Moose have been seen on over 1000 of our tours and owner/operator Elwyn Wheaton now has over 3000 hours experience driving at night in New Hampshire MOOSE country. So for the 2017 season it's again... Moose Movie - Moose Tour - Moose Fun ! We are 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 Certificate of Excellence Winner from TripAdvisor. Ride along as we do a night time 3 1/2 hour MOOSE tour out of North Conway to seek, see, and view New Hampshire MOOSE. Departure time is now always about 8PM to 8:30PM throughout our partial schedule so please when making your reservation just confirm the time you are to meet the bus at the train station. To begin the tour, an informative movie about New Hampshire MOOSE is shown. All find it to be excellent. At some point there's a bathroom stop where snacks and refreshments are available too. We are able to seek and view MOOSE after dark because our MOOSE bus is allowed to use floodlights and spot lights to seek and see MOOSE at night. It's attempted to have this adventure enjoyable to MOOSE seekers of all ages, adults and children alike. Most will agree it is. With the movie nearly 2 hours of DVD MOOSE entertainment is included. Between MOOSE "hot spots" some slideshows of MOOSE photos are played. One slideshow includes a few MOOSE tunes for kids. And added now is a slideshow with Shaw Brothers' song "New Hampshire Naturally" and only HD photos. All find it done well. Historically a success rate of over 96% is found May thru September. In the past this Tour has provided an average of 5+ MOOSE being seen and some nights even more MOOSE were seen. Not all tours offer photo opportunities yet our buses have windows that open when photo opportunities occur. We disembark the bus when ever possible, which happens the most in the summer. Please know the MOOSE we seek on this night time MOOSE Tour are wild animals and are unpredictable. We try our best in the time allowed. Again, last year, like most years, MOOSE were seen in all but a few nights thru Labor Day weekend ! Pretty awesome! Our success rate is also darn good right thru September, into October, and that's when there might be a sighting of a Bull MOOSE with full grown antlers too - which is exciting ! Our social media page is updated regularly too. To sum up, for every tour it's attempted for all aboard to have a safe, informative, entertaining, and enjoyable experience... and return saying "We saw MOOSE !". So late May into October make plans to have this night time MOOSE Tour be part of your 2017 North Conway White Mountains vacation experience and enjoy a night of MOOSE entertainment !

We had done this before and went back with our group of eight for another try. It's a long evening on the bus looking for the moose who don't always show up when you want them. Well, after 3 1/2 hours and on our way back the guide made one more sweep and voila we saw two moose. The last... More

Very passionate and knowledgeable about Moose. Movies are interesting although the music is juvenile.

It is attempted to offer entertainment during the tour to make the tour more interesting and informative, and fun. There's a 50 minute moose movie to begin, a 30 minute moose documentary to end, and in between a 10 minute slideshow with 3 fun moose songs. In addition, so not all music is "juvenile", a slideshow with HD photos is... More

We went on this moose tour with our family, the bus was full which was great and there were young children on it. We saw two moose but honestly it's just driving up and down a highway… let me rephrase actually…FLYING up and down a highway. With NO lights on, at 10:30pm at night, this tour guide was going at... My goal each night is to "See some moose, have some fun, and return safely". Speed limit on some of the 5 NH Route Numbers this tour travels on is 55MPH, yet I'll keep this review in mind on future tours. I do appreciate negative comments posted on Tripadvisor and give them considerable consideration. Like, someone suggested I pass the... More

We went to New Hampshire last week and went on this tour Friday night (7/24). I knew there was never a guarantee but took a chance. We did see moose. I loved Elwin's enthusiasm for what he does. We have 2 children who had a blast. Fun family outing. Lights, stars, video, songs. Just a lighthearted trip with a mission!... More

When taking this kind of tour it is a gamble if you will see anything. Even though we only saw a couple of moose it was most exciting to get off the bus and watch and get some amazing pictures. We will definitely take this tour again!!!

My husband and I did the moose tour on 7/24. All in all it was a success; we saw four moose (4 separate locations)! Twice, we were able to quietly get off the bus and view them. I think it's important for guests to realize that this is real nature safari; the moose aren't going to be strolling in town... More

This was my second visit to New Hampshire and I sure wasn't going to miss a moose this time around. Elwin, proprietor of MWV tours was great. He couldn't guarantee us a moose sighting but delivered anyway. A moose was spotted within minutes of our tour. Halfway through our tour, it began to rain hard. Elwin continued to circle around... We had an extra night to do something while in the white mountains. I'm a nature lover and have ALWAYS wanted to see moose. My family and I camp in VT and NH a lot and I haven't seen one. Based on the good reviews this tour got, I decided to go on the tour. Being a Thursday night, I... More

The "tour" started about an hour ago and has already gone from bad to worse. The proprietor of this business, whose name I fortunately do not know, kicked my entire family off the bus because we had to "listen to his speech." The riveting speech included telling us that the 1990's video they show on the bus is a "little... More

Hello ! We have here a reviewer who got to disembark the bus to watch and take photos of Moose for a long, long while, suggests you go to the competition, and rates this tour a "terrible"... please allow me to respond !
